Peppery versus non peppery
We just received a bottle of this Atlas EVOO Olive Oil, to be fair, I knew it would be low in polyphenols, but having used various brands recently, this was the mildest tasting of all of them and publishes harvest and expiration dates. Yes it has very little to no peppery taste which I was hoping for the higher peppery taste, the more medicinal reason for buying, (HIGHER POLYPHENOLS). So this mild tasting Atlas OO, has lower Polyphenols, and I will make my home made mayo with it. I purchased some P J Kabobs Olive Oil for medicinal purposes only. P J Kabobs brand, they at least post certified documented proof of the amount of polyphenols in their Olive Oil (around 900)! Both kinds will work!

It's actually pretty good the price is $19 if you do the subscription which isn't bad but it's expensive but not bad for a really good olive oil with a high smoke point and cold crushed or fused or whatever they called it it's very delicious

Quality cooking oil
This olive oil isn't what I thought it was; however, it is a quality product for cooking and it has a beautifully balanced flavor. My disappointment is because I was looking for a more robust oil with credited polyphenol count. On Amazon site it referenced this, but the bottle does not mention polyphenol.If you are buying for health (as I am), this may not be your oil. If you are looking for a quality smoothe olive oil for cooking you will like it. I AM enjoying the quality flavor!
