Luggage Scale, LEOKOR Hand Scales with Tape Measure for Travel Baggage Weight

This seems to work just find, tested it out,seems accurate, what I like best you can hold it with two hands, and lock in the weight display to look at when you put the luggage down, the lighted numbers are a plus too. I bought it as a gift for a friend, she's not able to hold all that weight one handed and is short so by the time the case is lifted its hard for her to see the display while shakily holding the case in the air. This is perfect for her needs.

A doctor had a concern that was carrying too much photography gear (weight-wise), so needed to start tracking that weight. This is ideal for backpacks & other camera bags. Using the built-in level, it gets a reading VERY fast, and is easy to read. And it is easy to use --> Was considering the type of scale that hangs on a hook (definitely more stable my hand holding a scale). And it uses 2 included AAA batteries, which are easy to come by.Downsides: A) Mild nuisance to switch from kg to lbs, and B) No need for the tape measure.Accuracy: Thought it was reading high, when I measured the weight of a tripod + ball head; had the manufacturer's specs for both items. I was wrong, and the scale was right because I added extra items such as a strap around the legs of the tripod legs. Good reason for taking actual measurements, instead of summing values from specs.

I really like this combo scale & tape measure and recommend it.It's larger than I expected (yeah, I read & marked out the dimensions before buying) but - it is solidly built. I've used some that seem like they'll break under the weight of a sizeable piece of luggage, this is definitely not like that. I like that the larger size makes it easier weighing heavier items especially in awkward situations. And it's size makes it easy if 2 hands are needed.The lighted display is nice & bright and very easy to read. I've used others that either don't light or might as well not. The warning color when luggage is too heavy makes for quick judgement should you need to repack.The strap is very easy to use. I keep it the box for stowing it. Directions leave a bit to be desired, though it's not hard to figure out.My only issue is that pressing the button multiple times yields a large number in the display and you must turn it off & start again. But that's only an issue when I'm in a hurry.

This scale has come it very handy, and I have not had it for long. I now carry it with me in my travel on luggage. There have been a few times where my luggage was just barely over the pound limits, and I have been able to adjust the contents by moving a few simple items to my carry-on luggage, that it has saved me from an extra charge. When I purchased it, I did not think I would get much use of the measuring tape either. I have found that to be very helpful as well since I have discovered that different airlines as well as different types of planes have different carry-on size requirements. I have been able to use my tape measure to determine what I was to do with that information. I have also found the scale to be accurate with the scales at the airport. However, to ensure that I do not go over the pound requirements, I usually make sure it is at least a pound under the limits. Great product.

I used to have to guess how much by luggage weighed while traveling, and most of the time ended up having to transfer things from one bag to another to get the weight right (what a pain!). But not anymore! This thing works great. Was only 0.2kg off from the scale at the airport. Couldn't ask for much better than that. I also like the fact that it is switchable between lbs and kg, since I live outside the US and travel international quite often.

Purchased this under my son's account and have nothing but good things to say about it. We were traveling on a cruise with a group of 7 people and I thought it would come in handy moreso for the return back home after everyone went on shopping sprees!Not 100% match to the airline's scale, but not sure I really trust their scales anyway. This luggage scale weighed other items I had in my home prior to going on vacation with 100% accuracy, so I'm going with this product to work better than the airline scales. Like the additional measuring tape which came in handy when my carryon bag was questioned for being the correct dimensions.Only CON I would have with this product was that at one point we couldn't get it off of "kg" and back into "lb" mode, but the least device savy person in our group figured it out :)

Gave 3 stars due to the fact that removing the cover to reinsert battery later (I don't store with batteries inside because I don't use often) the part broke off that keeps it intact. I am very shy to wrench on things for fear of breaking them and it broke. So now it's taped. It works well as a scale, just be careful.

This thing had saved us so much time and embarrassment! We travelled through Europe for 4 months and used this for our check in baggage. It was very accurate! I honestly do not know what I would have done without it. Very easy to use and it can be used in pounds or kilograms. It also has a nice tape measure on it, which I didn't have the need to use, but was nice to know it's there to figure out dimensions of luggage or bags.There were many options when I was looking for a luggage scale but I'm glad I decided on this one!
