Replaced original, old battery that was showing an error. This battery is a perfect fit and charges with no error. If any problems develop, I'll report with an update. So far, so good. UPDATE 2019-12-10: Original 5 stars is now 1 star as the battery abruptly and completely died a week ago. Received this battery September 18, 2019. We have another Toshiba so I swapped batteries - the "death" moved to the other laptop. Both laptops report the battery charge at 100% but both laptops instantly go black with the death battery when the AC adapter power is unplugged. To give it the benefit of the doubt, I even uninstalled ACPI Compliant Control - this did not help. The early death of this battery is completely unexpected and more importantly, just plain wrong. Not to mention, quite inconvenient. Stated is a 12 month warranty. I will try to contact TSKYBEAR INC. to see what they will do about this early failure and report back here. 2019-12-17: TSKYBEAR INC. was very responsive - they took my complaint seriously and got right back to me via Amazon. After returning the failed battery, I received a replacement battery. It charged right up and it functions. For their quick efforts I have changed my rating back to 5 stars. For reference, the original Toshiba battery didn't soft-fail till after 7 years! This replacement is indicating 2h 31m 62% remaining after 2 hours of use. If this replacement battery has early issues, I'll be back here to report. After all, I just want it to work.

This battery works well, perfect fit. It took little time for it to get to a full charge. I ran my laptop for roughly five hours before it was at 10%. It definitely does the job.

TSKYBEAR's battery is compatible with my Sattelite L645, it charges as quickly as the original Toshiba battery did when it was new, and it powers my PC for ~3.5 hours on a "High Performance" power plan. I've used it for 16 days as a replacement for the dead battery in what is now my secondary PC and I'm very happy with my purchase. I also received the product in an Amazon Hub box 2 days before I expected it and a friendly Amazon message from TSKYBEAR. I'll come back to this review in July 2021 and report whether or not the battery is still performing well. <May 29, 2021> (I'm a little early) The battery has performed consistently well!

A good replacement battery that works well, but not for heavy loads. I was running a game on here (Starcraft) which is an old game that doesn’t use a lot of resources compared to today’s standards and the battery nearly went completely dead in less than 30 minutes. This was even on balanced power mode. Would I recommend this battery? Yes, if you only do basic word processing, email, and watch some YouTube videos. For gaming? Not a chance. The price is good at least.

This works really well with my old lap top, my advice, make sure you get the correct cord for your laptop.

I have an old Toshiba L775 laptop which I maxed out the memory in and replaced the oem disk drive with a crucial 1 TB SSD. It also was never intended to run anything more than WIN 7. It is running WIN 10 about boots in a few seconds and runs great. The oem battery had outlived its intended life so this replacement will add another year or so to the life of this laptop until Microsoft drops support for WIN 10

I selected this particular replacement battery because it has been on the market for longer than most, which suggests it was not susceptible to overheating or fire. I felt it was worth paying the extra for this degree of reassurance. It arrived in a timely manner, and was easy to install. So far it has been working well and has breathed new life into my 11-year-old L655. So far I have not used it on battery only, but I have confidence that it will work well. I'll update this review if anything changes. Update 1 October 2021 This battery seems to have died - fortunately the computer still works when plugged in, but it shuts down immediately if the power is disconnected. It won't boot up on battery alone. I've called the manufacturer today (at Amazon's recommendation) and left voicemails; still waiting for a reply. I'd like a replacement sent right away, then I can return this dead one. Watch this space. 9 Oct 2021 The company never did call back, and I saw that the item was no longer available on Amazon. So I called Amazon again who promptly refunded my payment, which I then used to buy another replacement battery, this time from TECHEER, which arrived today, and which so far seems to be working fine.
