The bag has a soft faux suede lining, and the flap and straps have leather facings. There is a zipped pocket in the inside lining large enough for your phone or wallet, another larger zipped pocket in the rear of the bag, and one leather pocket on the front with buckle fastener. This bag is genuine Moroccan leather, thick and hard-wearing, and has been tanned the traditional way using organic tanning agents, leaving the natural markings of the hide visible and adding to the character and individuality of the bag. The vegetable dyes used produce a non uniform colour making each bag unique. Leather is a porous material and will become more supple with use as it absorbs the natural oils from your hands, developing a darker sheen. Dimensions: H36cms W30cms. yeah it is definitely smelly. but they did explained in a letter the causes of leather smells. "Natural leather is made from tanned animal hide and animal skin. In Morocco, tanners and leather-workers use natural, organic agents to treat and color rawhide and turn it into a durable material, leaving new leather with a distinctly musky odor. Natural leather has small, microscopic pores that allow the material to breathe. When these pores get clogged, often in storage when they are wrapped in plastic covers to protect the lather from scuffs, natural leather can release odors."The letter also explained how you can speeding up the process of getting rid of the smell.I think for the price, this bag quality is good.
