UPDATE.... The seller was terrific. The minute they were aware of an issue, they replaced the whole set.... cups and SPOONS, right away. No questions, no hassles.... I didn't even ask for a replacement.... I was told.... They're on the way.Very impressed.While I have nothing but praise for the seller, I cannot change my thoughts on the cups ability to keep liquid, hotter than my old ceramic cup, with lid.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL POST..... These came without the spoons.If you buy these for a gift, check before you give them as you don't receive what the picture and written product info says you will receive. The box shows and lists ... includes two wooden spoons.I use a silicone, smaller spatula. Works great. But, for company, the spoons are a nice touch.The cup/lid, while nice looking, doesn't keep my beverage any hotter than my old ceramic mug with it's lid. That was quite disappointing.P.S. We've used them a few weeks now and noticed that (when full or close to it) they have a tendency to tip over easier than the more substantial, flat bottom mugs. If you want this type cup, some styles do come with a more substantial base. This one had a nicer look, so I got it. If and when I need to replace them, I would get a design with a more stable base.

The review asked me about lightweight. They are neither heavy or lightweight. They are perfect especially when filled with coffee. They seem very sturdy. I normally wash them by hand but sometimes I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher.The handle is a great size. Big enough for a man to hold but not cumbersome for a woman.I think the shape is adorable. I don't know what it is about the shape but I prefer it to other mugs.It keeps my coffee hot long enough for me and much longer than my porcelain Lenox mugs do. If I need to drink my coffee in a hurry, I will use my Lenox. If I want to linger and enjoy my coffee, I choose my double walled mugs.A PLUS is the bamboo stir spoons that come with them. I use them every day. They are easy to clean, and again, I like the looks!! :)I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I really do love these mugs but unfortunately there is a tiny hole in the bottom of the mug. My kids put them in the dishwasher and now it is internally (and apparently eternally!) dirty on the inside between the two glass pieces. Other than that I think they are great. They keep my beverage warm and the clean one is really pretty as well.

UPDATE: I just learned on last night's news that drinking my hot tea or coffee at the usual 160 degrees will likely increase the odds of me getting esophageal cancer, so I take back my praise of the mug covers used to keep the tea hot while steeping. Although the mugs are still great, now I have my meat thermometer sticking out of the mug waiting for it to cool to 140 degrees, so other than the death threat from the American Cancer Society, everything is great.I have used this mug for coffee, tea, and cocoa on my Keurig machine and the glass double wall keeps hands from burning. A couple of my favorite teas require a 15 minute steeping time to get the best tea flavor, and the cover for this mug is great for keeping the mug contents hot until stepping is over and it's ready to drink. The wooden spoon is also a nice touch.. I got my package quick with no broken glass. These mugs replaced my Ninja plastic double wall mug that discolored something awful from coffee and cocoa staining. This glass mug cleans up easy.

Aesthetically pleasing and finely crafted of lab-quality clear glass. Smoothly rounded rim and handle that feels comfortable both on the mouth, and in the hand. Holds a generous 12 ounces of hot or cold liquid in a well balanced, easy to lift, double-walled insulated cup--the liquid looks lovely suspended in the cup. It's light weight, which is of importance to those of us with lifting and grasping issues, but this stylish cup doesn't scream "disabled," like so many other "assist" pieces. My only caution is actually a validation of the claims made for this cup--it insulates so well that when it's cupped in your hands, you forget just how hot is the liquid inside. My electric kettle heats to 212 degrees F, but I can hold the filled cup in my bare hands. And the removable lid keeps the heat in: it doesn't slip off because it's anchored with a glass collar that fits down into the cup. I don't mean to give the impression that this is a specialty piece--that was just a happy coincidence: it's a perfect cup for anyone, and it even comes with two spoons! Enjoy.

I've now had these cups for two weeks. They have become my favorites. They keep my coffee hot for quite awhile, especially when using the lid. They have made it through quite a few dishwasher cleanings with no problem. The lid is better than silicon ones I've added to other cups: The condensation on the lid does not get my desk wet when I take it off, no dripping, and just laying the lid upside down on my desk works fine, no mess. I have some thermos style travel mugs that keep the heat in longer, but they are not dishwasher safe and don't look as nice.

After tossing out an auto cup coffee tea maker (full of mold ) i bought an electric tea kettle. I entered the world of whole leaf tea. My friend recommended double walled glasses to steep and keep warm. I'm completely impressed. I bought infusers with little chains. I just stretched the hook and it fits on the side with the glass lid fitting on no problem. Nothing gets cold really fast. It's also really handy because all my drinks need to have lids. They're the perfect size too.

All it took was ordering the first one. Now I have a collection of various sizes for coffee or tea. They keep coffee or tea or broth warm. Since they are clear and strong glass, seeing the coffee or tea from the outside from top to bottom is fun and helpful and adds to the joy of the sip! Plus I can hold the cups however I want... either the bottom or sides or by the handle. They are simply delightful!
