Returned the one I got… onlyvway it keeps insulin safe is if outside temp is cold. 86 degrees ruins insulin. 3 year warrantee is only 1 year… and then try to collect. Cost less than $10 landed from China. Enormous markup. Don't waste your money. Amazon has many other great units.

Seems to work great. Not sure I’m using it right. I’ve had it since December 2022 and it’s been great.

It’s the best way to keep insulin protected from heat.From now on I use it all the time with my insulin pen.Just click and GO… No preparations.The most important it keeps my insulin at room, and it’s not cold for injection.

They work amazing, but once connected to a certain size there seems to be no way to change it.

Edit:After reaching out directly to TempraMed and some extensive back-and-forth, they agreed to replace the unit under their warranty. I do everything I can to ensure he has proper care. After fighting with his health insurance company monthly to receive insulin, I want to ensure the insulin is kept in good condition.I was taken in by the relentless Facebook and Instagram ads for this product, and eventually fell for it.First of all, you should know that if you are buying this device on Amazon, it's from a third-party seller, Simply Medical, who appears to be representing themselves on Amazon as the "official" store for this device.Notwithstanding that the product I ordered shows pictures of his specific type of pen in the device all over the page, the device we received was not the right one. It took a couple of weeks until we realized that the reason the pen kept falling out was that we had the wrong device. I contacted the seller (Simply Medical) through Amazon and requested an exchange or refund. Instead of being helpful, they gave me the run-around for several days, and I was left with the impression that they were not going to help.Simply Medical does not care about diabetics. They care about money.Nor did Amazon's "A to Z Guarantee" offer anything other than repeating the same canned answered we got from Simply Medical.The TempraMed VIVI Cap proposes to insulate your insulin pen with "space age" material (i.e. plastic). Furthermore, there appears to be some sort of battery-powered electronics that flashes a green light or red light depending on whether the temperature range has been exceeded. There is no option to replace the battery, so you are guaranteed to throw this device away when the battery dies. I have found no explanation nor proof that the electronics do anything other than flash an LED.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT from Simply Medical. If you want it, buy it directly from TempraMed if you want any chance of customer service.In the nearly two months trying to get this resolved, we've bought a $15 diabetic pen pouch with ice packs. It actually keeps insulin cool in a hot car for several hours.
