Wittner1 4/4-7/8 cello tuning pin

I've often looked at the traditional cello tuning system and wondered why no-one had invented a more modern systemfor tuning stability - enter Wittner....A bit expensive for a set of four but ultimately the end result is worth the cost.Very easy to fit, simply insert into existing hole, measure length, and cut off excess material. It took around 30 minutes to fit the set.Fitted a non adjustable tailpiece at the same time as the fine tuner version wouldn't be required any more.Super stable tuning, and has a very fine adjustment ratio.Check out the videos on YouTube

I absolutely love them! I have to buy them one at a time because they are soooooo expensive.

Funcionamiento muy bueno, aunque para instalarlas he tenido que agrandar los agujeros, en un 4/4, aún siendo la de menor tamaño (12mm). Una vez instaladas, afinar resulta superficial.

Compré para diámetro 12,5mm , pero me enviaron 14mm.(de cuatro comprados, dos de 12,5 y otros dos de 14mm). No caben en el ojal del clavijero de mi violonchelo. Tendré que buscar un lutier que pueda hacerlo más grande con un escariador cónico.

I thought since it says, "pegs" which is plural. I'd get 4 because they are supposed to go in a cello, which as most who'd buy these would know cello's have 4 strings, but they send you one, which is individually packaged.It works fine, but I'm still disappointed in the price mixed with there only being one of them, and not an option to buy 4 at once unless you choose quantity 4.

These pegs have made tuning my cello a breeze. All cello's should come with these already installed. I'm learning the cello and before installing these pegs half my practice time was spent tuning. Now my cello is tuned in less than 5 minutes.
