Very effective bug zapper!
Spring has sprung, and it brought with it the start of a summer-long season of bugs biting US! I've found this bug zapper to be an exceptionally effective way of dealing with those pesky bugs. This zapper has a built-in 4000 mAh battery that will power it almost all night long. The solar panel is rather large. It can be mounted on top of the zapper for the ultimate in convenience. It can also be mounted remotely. The solar panel comes with a 10-foot cord. That allows you to have the zapper in the shade, but mount the solar panel where it will get full sun. In my case, I have my bug zapper mounted on the included 2 prong stakes between my driveway and my pool. The zapper is shaded by the pool fence in the afternoon. Not good. I mounted the solar panel atop the pool fence where it gets full sun all day long. Perfect! One ugly problem with bug zappers is cleaning out the bugs. I've found I can use one of those high-powered miniature blowers sold on Amazon to very effectively clean out the zapper! I LOVE THAT! No more getting my hands screwed up with icky, nasty bug carcasses! The zapper has built in electronics to switch to charging the battery during the day, then switch to using the battery at night to power the zapper. The pair of ultraviolet fluorescent light tubes run cool and strong. I'm impressed with this zapper. It really does the job well!

Total Game-Changer for Bug-Free Nights!
I can’t say enough good things about this Solar Bug Zapper. It’s been an absolute lifesaver during the warmer months! Whether I’m enjoying dinner on the patio or just relaxing indoors with the windows open, this thing keeps the mosquitoes and gnats completely under control. The 4500V zapper grid is no joke. You can hear it working, and it's super satisfying knowing the bugs won’t be bothering you anymore. I love that it runs on a 4000mAh battery, which charges via solar panel or Type-C cable. It easily lasts through the night on a full charge. What really stood out to me was the detachable solar panel with a 9.8ft cord. I was able to place the panel in direct sunlight while keeping the zapper under a shaded patio roof — brilliant! And the auto mode is super efficient — it turns on and off automatically, so I don’t even have to think about it.It’s easy to clean, durable, and has multiple setup options. I’ve used it staked in the garden and also hanging in our screened porch. Covers a huge area too. The fact that it’s EPA registered and safe around pets sealed the deal for me.If you're tired of being bugged at night or during outdoor hangouts, this is totally worth the investment. Five stars all the way!

Great Bug Zapper for Outdoor Areas
I've had this large outdoor bug zapper for a few days, and so far, it's doing a great job. Setting it up was easy; I followed the instructions and had it ready in just five minutes. The solar battery powers the zapper efficiently, making it ideal for big outdoor spaces. Even if you have a smaller area, it works well if you place it on the ground in the right spot. I set mine near the shed, which added extra protection from insects this summer. The zapper feels sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. Out of the other options I've seen, this one provides solid performance and is a good deal for the price. The solar panel keeps the zapper running for about 4 to 6 hours after sunset, which is helpful in reducing bug activity around my shed in the evenings. I can even hear the zapping from my patio. For anyone looking for a chemical-free way to handle insects at night, this zapper is a smart choice. I'd give it a 5 out of 5 stars. I'll share updates if anything changes.

If you sit outside and get bit by bugs - you NEED this!!
This works great! You might wonder how I know this is working....well.....you can hear all the bugs being zapped!Pros: Solar charged, no cord needed for power, no need for any kind of repellent refill, etc. Product can be shut off when not in use, so it doesn't have to be on all nightCons: Can't think of any - if you sit outside and get bit by bugs, you should get thisThe light attracts the bugs, so you don't want to set this too close to where you are sitting, but if you had 2, you could put one on each side of the sitting area to really minimize the bugs getting to you!!

Super versatile and highly effective
I really like the design of this bug zapper. It can be used inside and recharged with USB power, or you can attach the solar panel in a sunny area and never need to charge it. It comes with a chain to hang from a wall/ceiling or stakes to place in the ground. So no matter what you need it for, it can likely do it. The operation is super easy too, there's a single three way switch under the waterproof flap that lets you select between on/off/auto. The auto mode seem to use the solar cell as a day night switch that turns it on in the dark. It works really well, there's constantly fireworks of bugs meeting their demise and the carnage of little bug bodies found all around it. It almost doesn't seem fair. The light isn't too bright and there's no noise other than the brief snap when a bug triggers it. So far it seems to be working really well, but the real test will be when mosquito season kicks into high gear.

Love the Solar Feature, But the Constant Noise Is Unexpected
The media could not be loaded. Right out of the box, I really appreciated that this bug zapper is solar-powered and rechargeable—very convenient for both indoor and outdoor use. The detachable solar panel and cordless design are great features. However, when I turned it on for the first time tonight, I immediately noticed a constant buzzing or ticking sound—even when no bugs were being zapped. I’ve owned several bug zappers, and this is the first one I’ve had that makes noise without any visible activity. I’m not sure if this is normal for this model or if I received a faulty unit.I included a video with this review so you can hear exactly what I’m referring to. It might not bother everyone, but for me, the noise is a bit much and could be a deal-breaker depending on the environment.
