The TentoLighting RV E26 LED Bulbs are energy-efficient, low voltage (12V) light bulbs designed for versatile use in RVs, boats, and off-grid living. Each bulb consumes only 5 watts while delivering a bright output of 400 lumens, making them a sustainable choice for modern lighting needs.

Exactly what I was looking for
I just got these today so I can't comment on how long they last or how reliable they are. I can only comment on their light output and power usage, after only several hours of use. But, I'm quite happy with them so far.Being 25-40 watt equivalent LED bulbs and putting out around 450 lumens they're obviously not going to fully light up even a small room, but I got them for a small bedroom that already has "regular" overhead lighting (120V AC LEDs in this case) for when I need it, but which I usually prefer to light up much more dimly, as it's easier on my eyes, especially when using a computer or watching TV. They were meant to replace a 7W 40 watt equivalent CFL that was starting to lose its full brightness. However, instead of getting the equivalent LED 120V AC version, I decided to experiment with 12V DC LEDs (note that these can also be used with 12V AC, but I'm guessing that most people will use them with DC). I was curious to see how well they compared to their 120V AC counterparts.I was also curious to see if I could power them from batteries, in my case a cell phone 5V USB power bank, using a 5V USB to 12V DC adapter. I recharge this power bank using a small 10W solar panel that I built a while back, that I use to recharge my cell phone and which puts out more energy than I know what to do with. I figured why not see if I can use the surplus energy to replace the CFL.Well, I'm happy to report that it not only puts out the same amount of light as the CFL it's replacing, at just the right color temperature that I prefer, 2700K, but it works quite happily when powered this way, via the power bank and adapter. No flickering, no dimness, no rapidly depleting the power bank. It just works, and has been for several hours. Now I need to see if this is something that will work on a daily basis with the relatively limited amount of power I have available with this setup, and whether these bulbs are reliable and put out a consistent light output and color temperature over time, weeks, months, even years. I'll try to update this review with that information after some time has passed. But if it works out, I can just imagine what I can do with a bunch of them, or with slightly more powerful DC LED bulbs, using a larger solar panel, e.g. 50-100W, and a larger battery, such as a deep cycle SLA (plus a charge controller of course). Like, light up a larger room or any room more brightly, a porch, campsite, tent, etc. I imagine that RVers and people who have weekend cabins in remote areas off the grid use such a setup regularly, as these seem tailor-made for it.It's amazing how quickly LED bulb technology has progressed, and how little power they use for the light they put out. I'm never going to break even on what it cost me to put together this setup, but it was just an experiment, not meant to save me money. Plus, even if it isn't cost-efficient in this instance, I just think it's cool to be able to light up a room (however small and dimly), using only the power of the sun.

Not What They Appear -- But They Work Fine
I received a 4-pack of these, and they're basically the same as one of the other manufacturer's bulbs. They do NOT look like the ones on the Amazon page -- they are white (not amber) topped, and they put out about 3000K light. They do dim as the voltage drops below 12v.Update:The seller contacted me and sent a replacement set. The bulbs are performing well. I've tested these, and they are about 3000K. They do not have tinted domes, as the pictures show, so when you get them expect that difference in appearance. I did advise the seller to update the picture, so they don't get more returns. I've updated the overall rating to reflect this update. The seller needs to update their pictures to reflect the actual product you'll receive.UPDATESee the pictures I've attached. The Tento I received doesn't look at all like the Amazon page image. The Tento looks a lot like the competitor, and on my Amp meter, it appears to draw the very same current (light output doesn't appear different).

One wouldn’t work
I needed exactly 4 for our RV. Three worked but one didn’t. Couldn’t message to get the one replaced. Only option was to send all four back.

Good enough for prime time use
Looks like a good product. Plenty of light. Color is acceptable but not outstanding. And I measured the wattage and it's 5 Watts on the nose. This serves my purposes as a replacement for the 120 volt lamps that I'm currently running.

Great light bulbs high quality
These are so far the highest quality low v light bulbs we had bought from amazon. They are heavy and bright. Using only 5 watts of power but it is same brightness comparing to another model using 7 watts so you save 2 watts there but getting the same result.Overall very happy and we will be getting more for our cabin house this summer.

Real bad product. My advice: don’t buy. (Updated)
Update: As it turns out, we were in the wrong and we’re not the only ones either if we look at the other customers comments. These are made for low voltage appliances such as the ones used in RVs, as said very clearly in the product’s pictures (12V only). We used it on a standard 110V, of course it backfired! Just be aware of that at purchase and you won’t have any problems. The seller was quick to respond and issued a complete refund no questions asked even though it was our mistake. It’s appreciated.Original comment: We tried a first bulb and as soon as we lighted it up there was a big spark, the bulb died, made the circuit breaker pop and broke the lamp altogether. We tried with a second bulb, on a different circuit and different lamp, the same thing happened exactly. Also good to know, you can’t simply return the product, you need to contact the seller and explain why you want to return it in order to start the return/reimbursement process. We’ll wait a little and hope not to have any more problems with it.

Excellent low voltage light
I used these bulbs in a portable sauna with the only issue being the one in the hot side has started to go out when the temperature is 100 degrees CelsiusI can’t blame the product as I’m sure it’s way beyond its operating design lolChange room bulb operates flawlessly

Toutes fonctionnels

They seemed to run forever on a car battery
We used to run a big generator at our hunting camp. This year I took a couple standard bulb sockets from the hardware store, wired them to the ceiling and ran it (with speaker wire) to a car battery. Put up 4 lights and it lit the whole camp perfectly! Used pull-chain sockets so we could choose how many bulbs to run. We were at camp 5 nights and still running strong!

Blew Up
Do not buy. I had to get this bulb since that is what my fixture called for and kept blowing them up everytime I put one in. Threw them right out in the garbage!
