Each box includes: -Bag of organic potting soil and small scoop. -Three (3) herb seed packets: *Basil *Rosemary *Sage -Three (3) peat pellets. Peat pellets assist with preventing root shock. -Three (3) peat pots. Ideal for starting seedlings or cuttings. Use for planting out for less root disturbance and stronger, healthier plants. Each pot measures 3.15" x 3". -Three (3) chalkboard herb markers and chalk. -Three (3) galvanized pots. Directions: -Place peat pellets into warm water (each pellet should expand). Drop provided herb seeds into the hole at the top of each peat pellet approximately ¼" deep. (you may also use a pencil or something sharp to add/increase holes at top). When pellets turn lighter in color, add water. Pellets need to stay moist, but do not keep them soaked. Keep pellets in a well-lit area; however, do not place them in direct sunlight. When roots appear at the bottom of each pellet, transplant each pellet into one of the provided peat pots. This prevents root shock. Cover peat pellets with provided potting soil and water the peat pots. At this stage, watering can be reduced, but do not let the pots dry out completely. The seedlings will need approximately six hours of direct sunlight a day. Apply fertilizer three to four weeks after the seeds have germinated. When roots appear at the bottoms of the peat pots, transplant each peat pot directly into provided galvanized pots, or directly to your garden.
