Does a great job removing loose hair and thinning out the undercoat. Both cats (shorthair) enjoy the treatment and will happily sprawl during their daily brushing! The tool itself has a good weight and balance to it. I don’t have to apply a lot of pressure. The weight of it helps and my hand doesn’t get tired or cramped using it. Removing the brush head is easy to do for a good wash and the plastic cap is nice to protect the end though the brush is not delicate at all. Make sure you dry before capping so you don’t get rust though!

I started using it as soon as it came in. We have an American Eskimo mix who sheds like crazy. I was able to get off an entire bags worth of hair with ease.

This thing is amazing! I am using it on my cat and she loves getting groomed with it. I was shocked at how much hair I got the first few times and now we are noticing less cat hair in the house. The ribbed grip on the handle is a great help since I have some dexterity issues.
