Personally I am not crazy about the taste or the texture, but my kids love them, including my peanut-allergic daughter. It is great to have snacks I know she likes and can eat safely.

I couldn’t decide between birthday cake or chocolate chunk so I decided to get the variety box and when I had the birthday cake out of the variety box it literally tasted exactly like a cupcake (in my opinion) it was amazing! so once I finished those 2 I then ordered a box of just the birthday cake ones and they all taste like berries? All four of them…. they were absolutely horrible and kind of stung my tongue. I had to throw them out - I’m scared to order again and have them go to waste but I do see that they carry other products and for somebody that’s pretty much allergic to everything I don’t have many options when it comes to pre packaged food so I am going to give a couple of their other products to try !

Love these but they seem to be very dry and crumbly lately. Used to always have these in my house.

Short version: hard to find a better allergen-free/Vegan brownie.Long version: Aside from choosing to be Vegan, if you have never HAD to avoid ingredients because of food allergies, consider yourself fortunate. Our son was born with multiple anaphylactic food allergies, so 20 years ago we tried countless recipes to make cakes and cookies that were nut-dairy-wheat-egg-gluten free that tasted just a little like the desserts made with the allergens. It was a long road. With that history, I do consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of allergen-free snacks. If only these were around back then! Please keep in mind YOU HAVE TO COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES! If you do a side by side with a Rule Breaker brownie and your favorite Hostess or Entenmann's, the classic American palate will almost invariably choose the preservative and junk infused snack. Line up a few Vegan/Allergy-free snacks, compare, and I'm confident you will find Rule Breaker will be the go-to. The truth is it is very challenging to create a dessert without the junk, but Rule Breaker has really done a fantastic job! If you are a family that has an EpiPen in the kitchen, these belong in your cabinet. At around $2 apiece - the price of a Starbucks Grande coffee, or an iTunes song, I find it hard to say the price is prohibitive. I would have gladly shelled out $60 a month to see my son's smile as he chowed on one of these every day.

I’d definitely buy these vegan treats again!! It was a fun treat for my daughter’s birthday. I also took her to Cake Bake! :)

This is one of those things that's hard to review because taste is subjective. But I did notice that most bad reviews are more about expectations than quality or taste. 'I thought it was going to be..." or "This isn't like...".Personally, I received one of these in a vegancuts box and loved it so much that I bought a 4 pack off Amazon. The downside is the price is ridiculously high, making these an 'every now and again' indulgence.As far as some of the negative things I read:- Packaging clearly states these are blondies or brownies, not cookies. If the blondies you do enjoy or are used to are hard like cookies, then I have some bad news for you: you have been living a lie your entire life (or maybe, reconsider that the things at Starbucks should NOT be the baseline for what you know)- Birthday cake flavor is akin to birthday cake flavored ice cream, not an actual birthday cakeAlso subjectively, I haven't experienced any other vegan, packaged dessert snack as good as the Birthday Cake blondie. I'm not saying there isn't a better snack, I'm saying the ones I've tried so far aren't better than this.... most are dry rocks or taste like nasty protein bars. Would have been nice if those who claim there are better ones out there actually name them for the rest of us. I also only tried the Birthday cakes one, so I have no idea about the other flavors. Maybe the others are horrible, I wouldn't know.

I bought these as a 12 pack - they were very expensive, but were delicious - at least the ones that were not stale!PROS -Unbelievably delicious for a Vegan cookie!Like knock your socks off delicious!CONS -VERY expensive!!Of the 12 pack I purchased, 3 of the cookies the packaging was apparently not sealed correctly so the cookies were rock hard stale - and ended up in the trash.Having to throw away 25% of the cookies - makes them even MORE expensive!!
