There are very few cases that fit the 2017 Microsoft Surface Book Pro with Performance Base. Sooo glad I finally found this one.This case was a pleasant surprise. It is affordable, looks nice, and it actually fits my laptop! The only thing you have to do is don't slip the black elastic straps onto the bottom of the screen. The top and sides fit so snug that you don't even need those straps for the case to stay in place.The kickstand is good for when you undock the screen, and also works with the screen docked. it's nice to have some stability, I can finally use the touchscreen without it tipping back. There is a strap on top for the pen, but you don't even need it, the side magnet still works through the case!My cat shredded the bottom the other day and I was so sad. I might have to buy another one so my laptop looks classy again.

After buying 5 different products, this was the only one that fit perfect and looks great!Very nice and great quality.Very happy customer and would recommend the item to anyone who purchased a Microsoft notebook 3.

It fits the surface well, but the slanted part that is supposed to hold the surface is not very efficient when I lay in bed. In addition the velcro sticks to my clothes.

When receiving the cover, I noticed that it didnt have any plastic wrapping or showing its sealed at all. This might of been used. Doesnt seem like it is but not sure how I feel about it. It was also really hard to slip it onto my surface book 13 inch screen. Like I literally forced the device into the two sleeves and it squeaked with a side of struggles. I usually clean the outside of my laptop once a week so when i tried to initially take it off to clean everything, it was a terrible struggle. Some fabric was stuck onto my laptop itself and its annoying to scrape it off. Not only that, I feel the laptop overheats so easily with it. I kept feeling it pretty hot. I do nto recommend this cover\sleeve.

I got this for the kickstand feature, but it's so ugly and heavy that I can't see myself using it. In tablet mode the keyboard part of the case has no function and flaps around uselessly. Finally, you had better want this to be permanent, because you have to wrestle the screen in and out of the case.Above all, a kickstand should offer ease of portability, This one is mainly a hassle -- and a heavy one at that.

I bought this for a surfacebook 1 which suffered a loss of battery in the keyboard . I needed something to protect the tablet part since I can't use it with the keyboard anymore. How stupid that Microsoft won't sell a replacement keyboard! The case provides protection (I kept the sponge packing to use in place of the keyboard) and a sturdy stand.

This cover looks great and has a great fit. I bought it because it has a kick stand and I require that so the monitor doesn't go back when I want to do some touch ups on Photoshop with the pen.
