I couldn’t decide between birthday cake or chocolate chunk so I decided to get the variety box and when I had the birthday cake out of the variety box it literally tasted exactly like a cupcake (in my opinion) it was amazing! so once I finished those 2 I then ordered a box of just the birthday cake ones and they all taste like berries? All four of them…. they were absolutely horrible and kind of stung my tongue. I had to throw them out - I’m scared to order again and have them go to waste but I do see that they carry other products and for somebody that’s pretty much allergic to everything I don’t have many options when it comes to pre packaged food so I am going to give a couple of their other products to try !

We love these healthy-ish, allergy friendly snack but this order came packed on in a plastic envelope and they were all smooshed. Won't be using this seller again.

This is one of those things that's hard to review because taste is subjective. But I did notice that most bad reviews are more about expectations than quality or taste. 'I thought it was going to be..." or "This isn't like...".Personally, I received one of these in a vegancuts box and loved it so much that I bought a 4 pack off Amazon. The downside is the price is ridiculously high, making these an 'every now and again' indulgence.As far as some of the negative things I read:- Packaging clearly states these are blondies or brownies, not cookies. If the blondies you do enjoy or are used to are hard like cookies, then I have some bad news for you: you have been living a lie your entire life (or maybe, reconsider that the things at Starbucks should NOT be the baseline for what you know)- Birthday cake flavor is akin to birthday cake flavored ice cream, not an actual birthday cakeAlso subjectively, I haven't experienced any other vegan, packaged dessert snack as good as the Birthday Cake blondie. I'm not saying there isn't a better snack, I'm saying the ones I've tried so far aren't better than this.... most are dry rocks or taste like nasty protein bars. Would have been nice if those who claim there are better ones out there actually name them for the rest of us. I also only tried the Birthday cakes one, so I have no idea about the other flavors. Maybe the others are horrible, I wouldn't know.

Just dropped $50 on birthday cake 24 pack and received the chocolate chunk instead. Just tried them and they are not as good as the cake flavor in my opinion...the cake is just SO good.I’ve been wanting to try these for a good month now. Them being available on Amazon is definitely a game changer because of the shipping and of course return policy just in case.Return policy not needed. Ordered on a SUNDAY at 3pm. Standard 2 day shipping. Got excited the next day and checked for fun. THEY WERE DELIVERED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER BEING ORDERED ON A SUNDAY! Ok, impressive.Let’s move on to taste... wow. I’ve been vegan for about two years and these might be my new favorite sweet snack. Birthday cake used to be my favorite flavor before I stopped eating dairy and these marked all of my checkboxes. They’re soft like brownies, just the right amount of sweet, and of course they’re pretty darn healthy for being a dessert.10/10, you’ve got a customer for life!

I bought these as a 12 pack - they were very expensive, but were delicious - at least the ones that were not stale!PROS -Unbelievably delicious for a Vegan cookie!Like knock your socks off delicious!CONS -VERY expensive!!Of the 12 pack I purchased, 3 of the cookies the packaging was apparently not sealed correctly so the cookies were rock hard stale - and ended up in the trash.Having to throw away 25% of the cookies - makes them even MORE expensive!!

These cookies are nice and soft and I love that they are vegan and don't use artificial ingredients. However, they are a bit too sweet for me and the taste is curious--I can't quite put my finger on what the flavor is. It is hard to describe. Not vanilla, not butterscotch, maybe the predominant flavor for me is pineapple. Maybe more for kids. I got them for the office as a snack.

I have had LOTS of vegan cookies, having been a vegan for decades. I just had been gifted other vegan birthday cake flavored cookies made at a vegan bakery and loved them so much. I saw these on Shark Tank and decided to try them since my family is all vegan and we like to support vegan businesses. I hate to write a negative review, but I hope the taste of these doesn’t stop someone from trying other vegan cookies. I think the taste I don’t like may be because they are gluten free. I recently had some gluten free vegan cake gifted to me for a special occasion and had to throw that out too as I did these cookies, something that pained me. I am really sorry, these are awful. I am too hesitant to try other flavors, I only tried “birthday cake.”

The texture is perfect, very soft like a wheat-based brownie. The taste is about what I'd expect from a bean-based treat. Do not go into this expecting this to taste like the regular version. I do appreciate that the company didn't go overboard with sugar to try and compensate for the fact that wheat flour is not used. It's fine the way it is. It certainly hits the spot for me. The four star review (instead of five) is due to the price. In my opinion, this product is quite overpriced, definitely not worth $15 for the box of four.
