Yes, it works great!
This is my go to replacement battery. They last many years. I’ve tried other after market models and this one is hands down the best!

Awesome battery for the price
Yes it's big and fairly heavy but I don't mind the weight or size. In my Makita drills and leaf blower it lasts much longer than my real 3.0 and 4.0 batteries. I have a 6.0 of these and have had it for several years and no problems at all. Will definitely buy more of these when needed. I have adapters for other brands of tools and use these with no problem and can stick with one charger instead of many different types.

Works great. Lasts awhile.
Works as it should with good power. Only issue I have is I have to think about how long I leave it on my charger because it does not stop charging like the oem battery and could damage the battery if left charging.

Died? No!
I see several reviews saying the battery died completely and would no longer take a charge. This happened to me after only a few uses. If the battery is discharged too far (my bad, left it sitting on a tool I wasn't using) then the internal circuitry doesn't have enough power to communicate with the charger (I'm guessing). The simple fix is to take another good battery, connect them together (positive to positive. Negative to negative) for about five seconds. That's all. Did that and the battery was good as new.FWIW, the video where I found this technique was doing it to fix a genuine Makita battery. That said, it can all likely be avoided by not leaving the battery sitting on an unused tool.

First battery I purchased stop taking a charge in less than a year. Contacted seller and they sent out a new one, no questions asked. Great seller to deal with!

Ok as a regular battery but it's not high capacity, i bet it has weights in it lol
I dont think im getting the full rated power out of this. Also the power indicator always shows 100% even when its about dead. This is probably crap but works ok as a regular battery just not actually extended.

Big @SS high capacity battery. With a digital power level readout!
I have used this battery with a Makita cordless circular saw and a Makita cordless drill/driver so far. Worked great! Have not yet managed to deplete it in any day's work, I can definitely run out the 3 amp hour OEM batteries in an afternoon's work with these tools. I am looking forward to trying this in the leaf blower and angle grinder, two of the highest draw Makita 18V devices we've got.---------EDIT AFTER LESS THAN 5 MONTHS:Battery is dead, will not take a charge, none of our (OEM) Makita chargers will even recognize it has been put on them. Not a "dead battery" indication. NOTHING.I got to use this THREE TIMES AND IT IS NOW A PAPERWEIGHT.Will try and get it replaced, this was not used to death, mishandled or physically broken, it is a DEFFECTIVE item.
