German Grammar Drills, Third Edition

I am learning German in an adult level 2 class and was desperately searching for workbooks and work sheets so I could keep practicing in-between classes. I found these books on amazon and bought immediately and I am just so pleased with the purchase. I have learned so many helpful new rulse, tips, and tons of new vocabulary as well. I don't know why these aren't required books to purchase for language learners because these are truly amazing. My Deutsch has vastly improved from using this book! Finally I can understand AND put into practice the Dativ v. Akkusativ!

I am finding this book useful. The grammar explanations are clear, and I like that there are lots of exercises, which is the key to learning. It is not fancy, but there is plenty of room to write answers down, and I like that it is big sized. I decided to get the 3rd edition because I didn't want to complicate things with online connection. This book contains everything, so it is good to take on travels, though it is bulky. I kept my evaluation to 4 instead of 5 stars because I haven't got that far into it.

My son credits this book for helping him really master the German language. He attends university there and needed something to help him become more fluent. He says this book was the best one for the job. I don't know much else since I am not the user of the product, but he says it was excellent, easy to use, and engaging. Danke!

The book is useful for beginners to get an understanding of fundamental German grammar. Some rules are basic while others simply need to be memorized. Full emersion into a language requires another person you can speak the language with or be within the confines of that country.

The book is detailed and thorough in it explanation of German grammar. I think it will be very helpful

Good but definitely not for beginners.

I haven’t used my German for years. It was a refreshing brush up course for me.
