Being a researcher, I investigated his claims emphasizing that this product was PPD-Free, and that they used TDS instead of PPD which was tolerated better by a significant percentage of people, along with ethanolamine which provides more natural results with less odor and dryness. No Parabens, which can cause allergenic effects such as skin irritation in many people. I figured that it was worth a try. So, in June 2024 I sent an email to the customer care team and within 30 minutes got a thorough response. I had lots of questions and ended up sending several emails before deciding to give them a try. I received my color box promptly even though it was delivered via USPS. I opened the package and noticed everything was in order with clear instructions and the opportunity to view them on U Tube. The contents of the box came with a color comb, gloves, alcohol pad, and gel packet to protect the skin if you got color on it. I applied the product, which as their name implies, was very simple to apply, using the nifty color comb made it a breeze. I noted that unlike the other color brand, there was no horrible smell, burning or redness and no migraine afterward. Once applying the color and noting the amazing results, I realized that this was very doable and since then I’ve been a loyal customer. Simpler Color is a serious company that holds up to the highest expectations one could ever expect, not just with the excellence of their products, but with the exceptional level of customer care and service. The representation of the product and concern they offer to their customers is phenomenal. I sincerely mean that, if there are ever any questions regarding their product, delivery or any other concerns or situations that may arise, dealing with their product, delivery support or anything else, you will not have to worry about it, because they will have you covered. I strongly recommend Simpler Color to anyone desiring a product that works without the ill affects you may experience with drug store brands, and who are ready to leave the white or gray hair behind. Now that Simpler Color has expanded to offer their products via Amazon, I can say that I’m thoroughly excited about that, since being an Amazon Prime member I received my order to my front door in two days; whereas using USPS it would always be a week or more.

It’s easy, colors well. My only gripe would be that it’s a little pricey for the amount that you get.

I have been using this brand for a few years. I love the simplicity in the delivery method can, spray out what you need, disperse as needed, wipe the can off, put the lid on, put it away. Please push the button all the way down, that's how you ensure you are mixing the chemicals correctly. If you are doing multiple areas, the flow is moustache, goatee/beard, eyebrows (Qtip!), then hair. Make sure you work it all the way to the skin. Make sure you cover the hair with a gentle scrubbing motion to make sure each hair is fully covered. I usually do 20 minutes on facial hair and between 12-15 for head hair. The time is the key. It is a deeper color the longer it is in contact. Facial hair is thicker than scalp hair, hence longer contact time. Rinse and use a color safe shampoo. Conversely, if you have thicker hair, you can rinse and go right to a color safe conditioner and again scrub it deep and thoroughly. You may see some stray greys, I almost always do, I see it as making it feel more real. I had a friend I have known comment that I "have some grey finally coming in..." Sir, I am 55, I have had silvers coming in since I was 35. I just use good color.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others about this product. To put it simply: it just doesn’t work. Save yourself the headache and keep your money. Beyond the product being ineffective, the company's "Money-Back Guarantee" is a complete sham. I followed their instructions and contacted the support email they provided—not once, but multiple times. I waited patiently for a response that never came. They completely ghosted me. Why you should stay away: Zero Results: The product failed to perform as advertised. False Promises: They do not honor their refund policy. Non-existent Support: Multiple emails went unanswered. At this point, I’ve given up. I don't even care about the $50 anymore; it’s the principle of the matter. It was a massive waste of my time and energy. Do yourself a favor and buy literally anything else—no one should ever spend a cent on this.

Great stuff except they ALWAYS run out of the color base before the white catalyst runs out. So, in reality, the cost is about twice what you pay since you can only use about half of the can. I’ve bought dozens of these and they’re all the same.
