Maybe a short thin piece of copper but nothing thick, would just get hot hot hot. And if your looking to heat treat a knife with it, I’d suggest buying MAP Gas and possibly two burners to cover the blade evenly, unless your making a little cute tiny knife then you’d probably be alright.
