I love this thing. First off, it has that nice professional salon smell. I don't know how to describe it, but it's a pleasant smell. You will have to dilute with some water because it can get sticky. I like to do 70/30, with the latter half being the amount of water I add. I like to spray it on my hair after I've washed it, oiled it and applied curling cream. I've noticed that it helps my curls maintain their shape for a few days longer than they usually would. It seems like the more you spray, the more it'll hold. I personally don't spray too much out of the fear that it'll weight my hair down. My hair is sort of curly/wavy, but the texture can easily change into something straightish or frizzy if I pull it into a ponytail or bun for too long. With this, I can just pineapple my hair for about two or three nights and still have a nice head of curls until the next time I wash my hair. It helps that the bottle is pretty big, too, so it has a long shelf life depending on how you dilute it.

I was a little careful about this product until my stylist said its ingredients were OK. For those of us who were born with bad hair, it's amazingly light. It's very thin, so it's hard to control how much you use if you just pour into your hand. Most useful if you put it in a spray bottle; just spray a little on (with a small spray bottle, it was only four or five "spritzes")and massage it through your hair. That little bit instantly clears tangles without leaving any residue on your hair. No glop to stick the hairs together or risk it breaking when you try to separate them apart. Only reason I didn't give it five stars was that I haven't used it often enough to make sure it's not drying my hair out. Have been using it when I really need a good hair day, as opposed to ordinary day, but it's got real promise. (Am also using Rusk Thick spray-on volumizer to give my hair body after it's dry and before styling. Check that out!)

I have curly hair, and use this every time I wash it to help it curl rather than frizz. However, it is too greasy like it is - I pour some in a spray bottle and weaken it with water (at least half and half). I used to find it in my local Walmart, but not anymore. You know how just when you find the right product, they stop making it? If they ever stop making this, I'll have to shave my head!

I love the way this makes my hair look and feel - very soft and shiny! Unfortunately I have very sensitive skin and it makes me breakout like crazy anywhere my hair touches my face or neck, so it's a no go for me :(

This is a wonderful product that I have used for years. I usually dilute it with water in (50/50 or 75/25) spray bottle and spritz on each lock of hair as I set it in the VaKind spiral curlers, a generic brand of Curl Formers. The resulting set whether I air dry or blow dry, lasts longer, is fuller, bouncier and shinier, too. Great product at a great price.

My daughter likes this. Sometimes it is hard to find locally in the large size.Now that won't be a problem.

I've been using this product for some time now..,it is one of the best out there however, everyone has their own opinion. I chose to buy here as it is hard to find for one & the price is right here among other things.

This has long time been my favorite hold for my hair. Not greasy, not crisp and hard, not smelly. I have used this stuff since I was young and had thick hair. Over time, gradually balding and my hair becoming fine...I've tried many different things and I always come back to this!
