THIRDREALITY Zigbee Smart Watering Kit Pro for Potted Plants, Indoor Plant Watering System, Hub Needed, Compatible with Echo Devices with Zigbee Hub Built-in,Home Assistant,SmartThings, Hubitat, Homey

Functionality: adequate for my purposes; I'm just using it for a couple of potted plants and haven't pushed the envelope in terms of how many plants it can reasonably cover or how high it can lift the water. Since setting it up, soil moisture has been consistent in the range I wanted (see note below about setting up that targeting). Connectivity and compatibility: integrates with home assistant trivially, easy to set up automations triggering watering based on moisture levels from the thirdreality soil sensor. Setup took about 2-3 minutes. Battery life: I don't have a read on this yet; I'm just running it on disposable batteries and it's been going for a couple of weeks. Appears to have an option for wired power via usb, but I haven't tried that. If I find myself needing to replace batteries too often I'll update this review. Only negative I've noticed: the pump is surprisingly loud when running. Not problematically so, just kind of an annoying/unpleasant noise. Doesn't quite seem worth deducting a star over, but I wouldn't want it in my bedroom.

Works super well. I’ve been using it for my seed starting set up indoors and it’s made a fantastic difference. Loved it so much my husband bought a second one to use for a few of our smaller houseplants.

The timer itself works well and was fairly easy to integrate with Hubitat. Unfortunately, the watering heads included with the kit are a major weak point. Each head has an adjustable flow-control knob, but the adjustment is very inconsistent. When running multiple heads on the same line, it's nearly impossible to achieve even water distribution. Over the course of a few days, one plant may receive far too much water while another receives very little. As a result, some plants become overwatered while others are left struggling. I also ended up replacing the main tubing because it kinked easily and repeatedly restricted water flow. Overall, while the timer performs as expected, the included watering heads and tubing significantly reduce the effectiveness of the system.

Pump performance is too weak. For 2 closest plants out of 6 plants (height from water level ~1m) there is just drops, and for the rest 4 is nothing at all, compare to good solid stream from my previous cheap, non-smart watering appliance from Amazon. Pump is also much noisier. Smart functions is just start/stop. No any adjustments from app.

Works well but by gosh it’s noisy. Not one to allow to come on randomly at night!
