I purchased three brands in all to find the best quality. This one won hands down. I did not receive this as a product to review from the manufacture, so the the opinions are completely my own. I will list the other brands that I purchased though to help others know which I feel is the best buy.. Luxury Hotel Collection Plain Protectors-Zipper-King-white-Set of 2 (sold by: Bare cotton Corp.) and the next one was Zippered Pillow Protectors Hypoallergenic Cotton/Poly Breathable Pillow Covers Soft and Quiet _set of 2 king) White Pillow cases(sold by Bare Cotton Corp). Circle home brand had a noticeably higher thread count than the other two. The other two were fine for a basics quality in fact they seemed identical. The real winner for Circle home was that they were not that much difference in price. I would purchase this brand again.

Here is the absolute truth. These pillow protectors do work well. They are quiet, with no hardness. And they are worth the price.An update. Changing the pillow protectors to a 5 star. As, I had the pillow protectors for over 2 month, washed them on light delicates, and they retain their form, ability to deter dust mites (as far as I know). And, unlike other pillow protectors, these are still quiet. Glad I purchased them. P.S. I hate false adds too. And, I depend on other reviews most often before I make purchases.

Yes, it's 100% cotton. Yes, it's soft. HOWEVER, two major issues. #1 - once you wash the cases in warm water, they will shrink to the point where you'll struggle to stuff your pillows into the case. Once you've managed to stuff them in, the fit is so tight that the pillows become 'hard'. Imagine stuffing 3 pounds of garbage into a 2 pound bag. You get the drift. THEN...the 2nd issue: They are not sewn straight. Not sure how they managed it, but half of them (3 of the 6) are crooked. Great price, but I'd pay 3x the amount for cases that are 100% cotton, and are stratight, and are pre-shrunk so the dimensions will actually fit my standard pillows. Ugh.

These covers just arrived and I decided to check the fit prior to cold washing them. Really happy I did, seems the seams where left a but unseemly. Rather shoddy work, especially on the zipper, and had it gone through even a gentle cycle as is they would have fallen apart. I'm going to sew them up correctly myself as returning them wouldn't be cost effective and otherwise seem okay.

I recently replaced our pillows, so bought these to help protect the new ones - and to protect us from allergens and other things that I'd rather not think about that are sometimes harbored by down pillows. The pillow protectors are soft white cotton, don't make any crinkling sounds as some cases do, and the zipper is correctly installed and works easily. I washed them as soon as I opened them and they are now even softer, and held up well to my washer (cold water) and drier. My new standard-sized down pillow fit inside nicely, and with a decorative outer pillow case, look fluffy and inviting on our bed. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. For this inexpensive price and good service, you can't go wrong.

Crap!! The zips busted within a month of use!! Should only be $2.50 at most! Spend more to get quality!!

We have 11 bedrooms in our summer house. Adding these covers was the perfect solution to keeping our investment (pillows) protected when used by multiple visitors . We are happy with the quality of the material and the workmanship of the cases. We purchased both regular and king size cases.

These fit my pillows perfectly. There's just enough material, its not too tight making the pillow feel stiff. It's not too loose where you can see it hanging out the end of your pillowcase or feel the extra material bunched up between the pillow and pillowcase. It's so comfortable you don't even know it's there.Once on the pillow the material is soft and glides easily into my pillow case without bunching up.I came on here to buy more but the price doubled, I bought a two pack of king size protectors a few weeks ago for $12.99.I also purchased the utopia 100% cotton pillow protectors to compare and these are much better.. The other ones are not sized correctly, they hang out the end of the pillowcase and extra material bunches up under pillowcase making them uncomfortable.. They also cling badly and are hard to get on the pillows.

These are very basic pillow protectors. They are well made and true to size and held up being laundered. They will provide very basic protection - like a zippered pillowcase under your pillowcase. They are 100% cotton. They took quite a while to arrive but are good value for the low price. They are particularly good for under decorative shams, as opposed to your everyday sleeping pillow, for which you might want something with more protection.

They are ideal for preventing allergies.
