Not Heavy Duty as advertised
We purchased a 12 Pack of this tape back in October when we got low on packing tape on hand. I am now outside the return window.We have used 3M Heavy Duty (Industrial Strength) from Sam's Club but thought we would give this product a try. We are currently packing for a cross country move and have been packing numerous boxes. After using up about 1/2 of the first roll out of this package I am less than impressed. The tape is coming undone on some of the boxes and I am hoping that I do not have to go around all the boxes in the garage to verify the tape is sticking.This tape is considerably thinner than the 3M Heavy Duty tape and not as sticky. I guess you get what you pay for. Just got back from Sams Club with another pack of the 3M tape.

It seems better than what I can get locally, for about half the cost.
Walmart has garbage packaging tape for $3 and the Home Improvement stores have comparable tape to this for over $5, still this is thicker and seems stickier than that stuff.I've taped up three boxes so far, the tape holds well and is pretty tear resistant.My room mate happened to see the quality, and she was immediately sold on buying a 12-pack for her office.Reviews lead me to believe there may be a Quality Control issue but I'm willing to take that risk next time I need more tape.

good deal, strong, but smelly at first
At the time I bought them these seemed like pretty much the best deal on Amazon for strong packing tape and I've not been disappointed. I've since used them for several domestic and international shipments with no problems. Only complaint is the adhesive odor which took days to off-gas after first opening the package, but this is not the first packing tape I've had that issue with so it's not unique to this brand. Also, the Office Depot knock-off logo is a little lame.

On my 3rd or 4th order,It beats the higher priced stuff and is way stronger!
I have been wasting a lot of money buying the high priced crap from wallyworld! this tape is thicker,stronger and sticks better then all the name brand stuff I have used I am glad I found this to purchase from now on!

Smells like cancer
I work around strong automotive paint chemicals, cleaners, thinners, and this has an insanely strong chemical off-gassing smell.It's possibly formaldehyde. It's definitely going in the trash. I don't even want to touch it to return it.If you want to use one roll, you may survive. But using a twelve pack .... you're on your own.

tape need to adhere to box better
I had to mail 80 pkgs for Postal and I found the tape did not stick as well as it should. I had to double tape several times to be sure box would arrive safely.

Bought a lot of these
After packing my four bedroom house for a move, I feel like I’m an expert on tape! Lol! Great quality

Fantastic deal
Great deal for 12-pack packing tape. Tape seems strong and formidable. Loaded easily. Should work fine.
