Flip-A-Word: Snow Bow

I love how these books show children word families. They help children learn to look at sections of a word, rather then sound out every single word. Word families are the first step toward a new reader learning to look at words as chunks for quicker reading.

I was concerned that my kindergartener didn't seem to be learning to read when a parent of a first grader told me to use these. He began reading in these books almost overnight. I bought all eleven of them! I highly recommend this series.

I love this book series. I just stumbled upon it b/c a retired teacher friend gave my son one of the books in the series. I figured there had to be more, and this was a sweet surprise.

Love these books. We have twin girls who love to read these, and it has really helped to build early reading skills and building the confidence to read. They also have a speech delay and these books are easy to make sure all sounds, especially the ending sound, are made.

This is a super book for pre-K to 1st grade. Fun pictures and Fun rhymes. I bought a set for the teacher!

my daughter loves the book! she has been reading the book over and over, pointing at the words. it's a great phonetic book with lovely illustrations.
