Bragg's Medicinal Charcoal 100 Tablets

I have a very food-obsessed dog who is notorious for stealing things she shouldn't. After a few terrifying scares and emergency vet runs, our vet actually recommended that we always keep activated charcoal on hand. They told me to give her one tablet the second I realize she’s eaten something toxic or questionable, and then head to the vet if needed. I bought this bottle to keep in the pantry just in case, and it has already paid off. Recently, she managed to sneak some questionable food that is known to be toxic to dogs. I gave her a tablet immediately, and to my absolute relief, she didn't have any vomiting or diarrhea at all. Her system simply flushed it right out because the activated charcoal absorbs the toxins before they can cause an issue. Having this on hand, along with using daily probiotics, has honestly been life-changing for us. It gives me so much peace of mind and has saved us from some massive emergency vet bills. If you have a sneaky dog, I highly recommend asking your vet about keeping a bottle of this ready to go! It does exactly what it is supposed to do.

A real lifesaver! Quick acting Charcoal tablets. Nice, small and easy to swallow. Great if you have indigestion, tummy aches, bloating. Or if you suspect you have eaten something, that doesn't agree with you. Make sure to drink plenty of water after taking them. As they can dehydrated you. Great value for money

These are nothing short of amazing. I have a stomach muscle separation following 3 children which has given me considerable digestive issues and one of which is pungent flatulence as my muscles fail to hold everything in. Not the most attractive and definitely the most embarrassing. I cannot routinely eat meals which have potatoes or rice and if I have eaten a few different snacks such as crisps or biscuits then I will suffer from wind all evening. It's almost a standing joke in our home when a smell hits as to whose the culprit! ....Following a search for a cure after a particularly embarrassing evening... I decided to purchase these tabs and following other users advice have used 2 before and 2 after a meal which I know will give me bad wind such as a roast or fish and chips and I've been amazed that the wind has all but disappeared!!! I don't use these everyday so I can see the difference when the wind starts after meals where I haven't taken the tablets. As other users commented, they are best to swallow with water as if your hands are wet you can see the colour coming off on them and I have found 2 before and 2 after a heavy meal is adequate. I would find it inconvenient to have to have one in between a meal but so far I haven't needed to. As mentioned before they can make your stool a darker colour and as I don't take them everyday mine is darker but not black which I would find a little alarming! Will definitely purchase again as they have given me the confidence to be able to eat foods I enjoy inside and outside the home.
