Holy crap that was easy. Took me longer to grab my tools and walk to the jeep then it did to put the remote start on. So far works great . Wife is gonna love it even more when winter hits

Very easy to install. Plug and play. Perfect compatibility with my 2018 jeep wrangler jk unlimited sport. This remote start works great. Haven't had any issues with it. For the money you can't go wrong if you like heat on a cold winters morning when you 1st enter your car. Very happy. Installation and fit was great.

The remote start package was delivered on time and very easy to install. I was able to find plenty of online support to assist with the installation. It took about 20 minutes and it works great. It works with all of my factory keys with no extra programming or cost.

Intstall of actual unit took 5 minutes. However, removing the lower steering wheel cover took a while. My lower cover did not pull down enough to get hands in to install, even though my 10 y/o daughter was helping. Once I managed to take off the lower panel it was all good. I'm a big guy and removing that panel was hard. You think it will break, but it won't. Also, you will need a much stronger trim removal tool(s) than the one provided to remove the lower column panel without removing the steering wheel.4 stars instead of 5 because the 4 pin small black conector input on the main module was covered in tape as if you are not supposed to use it. Tou need to just pull it off and plug it in.Side note: the QR code video that the instruction manual provides is great, but while programming I accidentally pressed the unlock button on the key instead of the lock button as instructed and it still worked perfectly.

I installed this yesterday, however, is not an easy installation on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Sahara. The steering column does not have three screws that hold the bottom cover on so you have to take the steering wheel off to get the cover off. With all that said once it was installed programming it was easy put it back together and it works beautiful.

This is an excellent little remote start. It installed in seconds, was super easy, and very cheap. Great option for someone who does not want to pay an arm and a leg for a professionally installed system. It is plug-and-play for anyone with an Automatic transmission and no intent to use a long-range fob.As for me, I have a manual/standard transmission on my Jeep JK. This product says it "does not work" with standard transmissions, but that is because the clutch is required to be pressed in to start the car. You can avoid this by placing the vehicle into 4WD-LOW, which will bypass the clutch. While I chose to do this, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. It is a MAJOR liability to run an autostart if the car is in gear, as the vehicle will start driving when started. I take zero responsibility for providing this information.As expected, the OEM fob works just fine, but using it all the time will kill your fob battery and its range is laughable. So, I also ordered the Fortin RFK912 remote from Ebay, but it should also work with the Fortin RFK942 fobs as well. It depends if you want long-range lock/unlock features on the fob instead of just the autostart button. I ran the wire up through the trim and placed the antenna on my windshield behind the rear-view mirror. Works perfectly from inside the house.Definitely recommended!!

Fairly easy. My 2017 Sahara has 3 screws not 1 like the video shows. Once realized that. it was easy to install. Worked right away with both keys.

I've always been a BMW guy and as a mechanic I know how much of a pain it is to install remote start on euro cars. This installation was so quick and easy and the kit is super affordable. Now I have remote start on my Jeep and it works with both of my keys. No extra steps were needed to program the extra key. I love how I don't need a separate fob since it uses the factory key lock button to start or turn off the Jeep. No cutting or splicing of the factory wiring. The only tools needed are a small t20 torx screw driver to remove the steering wheel column lower clamshell cover. And some scissors to cut the excess zip ties for securing the new remote start module. Took less than 30 mins and I wasn't rushing anything. I highly recommend it. This brand seems to be the best price too and the instructions are actually in proper English since it's a north american company.

I was a bit worried, once installed our jeep started having starting issues. Turns out our battery was on the fringe of life. I ran our battery through our battery conditioner thing for 24hrs, and no issues since.I dont think its at all related to thr starter - but that small extra draw didnt help a battery near EOL.That said, since the conditioning, even in -30 no issues for the last few months. I use this starter all the time. Super easy to use.
