Setting A New Combination:1. Pull open the lock box2. Find the metal switch on the inside face of the lock box front door. The metal switch is circled in red below.3. Move the switch to the right and up.4. Find the four dials on the front of the lock box front door (pictured below).5.Turn the dials to set your unique combination.6. Return again to the metal switch on the inside face of the lock box front door.7. Move the switch down and to the left to lock-in the combination you set.Opening the shackle1. Pull open the lock box.2. Find the RELEASE button on the back face of the inside of the box.3. Push the button to the left and pull up the shackle at the same time.

Holds modern large key fobs
Purchased this to hold my spare key fob as my husband doesn't like carrying more than a door key for a vehicle her only available drives. Fits a GM flip key fob or a Chrysler one plus currency or cards. Easy to set the 4 digit combination; didn't even need the instructions. Cover looks like it adds weather protection but my plan is to use it inside my car so I can't comment.This is pretty big; I initially planned to attach to the cargo hooks in the back of my Jeep Cherokee but it was too awkward so it's fixed to the seat adjuster handle instead.We liked this so much we ordered 2 more for our kids' vehicles. Cheaper than buying a 3rd fob for only occasional use.

Fit between screen door and front door
The size was perfect for where I needed to install it. Just the right size with plenty of room for my key.

Broke after 1st use while on Vacation!
I rarely review, but this is necessary. I was very excited about using this lock while I was out of the country, so my pet sitters could get in and out of my house with ease. Near the end of my trip the lock stop working and I had to call a locksmith to bust it open for them to get the keys out so my babies didn't starve. Let's just say invest in a few extra sets of keys and save the money and headache.

Much larger than I expected, but seems well built and will serve its purpose to keep a spare key for my RV locker in the propane locker.

Rust Spots...
... are developing on the lock ring under the clear plastic cover, we have had rain but rust still isn't good. Everything under the cover is fine and dry.

Piece of mind
Used to provide beachhouse access for girls vacation. We could come and go without worrying about key loss or getting locked out.

Works great. I don't use it for keys was just looking for a small portable lock box and this does it's job well, not sure about durability though
