At first I was having trouble using the phone mount. I found it difficult opening the phone mount to insert my phone. It kept slamming shut before I got the phone in. Love this phone holder - I've used it for my Galaxy S2 phone and now my Galaxy S4 and works very well! The product itself works great, is spring-loaded so you can fit many sizes of phones in it, and has never broken or have I had any problems with it.However, for me personally--and my specific car---I'm thinking I may look for another car holder that allows me to put my phone somewhere where the sun will NOT shine through the front window down onto the screen! ---I normally attach it to my AC vent in the middle of the dashboard, but during the day it's frustrating b/c the sun shines through the front window and it's hard to see the screen. I've been driving for Lyft, now, and it's tough with passengers in my car for me to keep trying to cup my hand over the top of my phone to try to see the screen. Might look for a suction cup type mount with a longer arm so that it pulls my phone AWAY from the front window to avoid glare!

Great product, holds phone well and stays in the vent when it's all the way in. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me and for my car. I have honda crv 2010 and note 4 with Samsung flip case. It does fit note 4 without any problem and could fit even bigger device. But because the phone is so big and my car vent is small, veno isn't all the way into the vent. Although it does hold the phone well as is, it does pop out easier than its suppose to be. For improvement, I wish that clip that goes into the vent was just slightly longer so that when using big device the piece that goes into the vent has enough room. I'm currently using it as half way into the vent and will see how that goes on rough roads in ny. Will recommend.

I've tried a few different phone mounts, but none have worked the way I wanted. Some took up too much space (a cup holder) and/or left the phone at an odd angle. Others didn't connect well to the vent, and would fall off while driving.I read about the Vano being a good option, and after reading the reviews, I gave it a shot. So far I'm very pleased. the device is minimal - a solid rubber grip for grasping the air vent, and an expandable clamp for grasping the phone.I have a 4.7" screen Moto X (2013) with a case, and the Vano holds it well. It won't expand enough to grab a 7" tablet (I checked) but it has enough give to likely work with a 5" or slightly larger phone. The clamp feels sturdy, but can be expanded one handed to insert and remove the phone.Depending on your vent, you should have no trouble positioning the phone in portrait or landscape mode, and I was able to twist the orientation without trouble. For hands-free use, it's great - it mounts the phone at a good eye level for navigation, without obscuring the front windshield in any way.If i could improve the device in any way, I'd give a bit more clearance between the rubber tip mount and the phone mount portion - say .25 to .5 inch. This product worked okay for about 3 months, then it broke. I think the cold weather caused the plastic to become brittle. That along with the fatigue of attaching and removing the phone over and over caused the plastic parts holding the springs to fail. Also, it only sort of fit into the air vents on my 2009 Civic, since the vents are designed to be somewhat sunken into the dash. I was using it with an iPhone 6 with no case.Edit:I decided to seek a refund since the product says that it carries a 100% money back guarantee. I contacted Vano and they didn't hesitate to offer me a full refund for the purchase price! They were courteous and timely in answering my emails. If the product had fit better in my car, I would probably have given it another chance. For this reason, I bumped my review from 3 to 4 stars.

I have been using the Vano air vent mount for about 3 days now and it has been great! I have an iPhone 6+ with a Caseology bumper frame case which adds a bit of bulk to the phone and it holds up pretty well while driving through some of the city bumpy streets. The built quality is top notch. It has this some what rubberized material along with the glossy plastic to keep your device safe and secure, while the spring mechanism provides a strong grip. It's very easy to install and it can be adjusted virtually any way so it can be used in multiple vents. I also love the fact that you can use it as a kickstand. I ordered two of them and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a car mount for their mobile devices.
