I have only had it one week and the phone holding clips stripped the gear and is dropping the phone. Then today the arm fell off and I haven't touched it since I set it up 4 days ago

We had a similar phone holder that was broken by a service tech :( This one was cheaper than the first. Pros: It works. Cons: It feels like it could break if handled too aggressively, the release button operates a little rough, the prongs that fold out to hold the base of the phone fold back in on their own. If these things don't bother you and you want to save some money, it's okay.

These work beautifully, no issues with the geared clamps.

This double cup phone holder does work, but the overall quality and design is not really that great, the long bendable rods are very flimsy, so the phones shake quite a bit when your driving, the clamps hold the phone pretty well, but the 2 little supports that keep the phone from sliding down out of the clamps are movable and they don't lock into place, so they fold in under the holder constantly, the bottom section of the holder that goes into the cup holder, tightens up nicely and easily, it supports both phones without coming out of the cup holder, so overall not very happy with this cellphone holder, I would not recommend this product.

I dislike mounted phone holders, so this seemed perfect for me. I like that it fits almost any cup holder by adjusting. It took a little bit of getting used to operating the clamps, but once I got the hang of it, they work well. It does move a little bit if you're on a bumpy road, but the rods are surprisingly sturdy. I docked a star because my case plus the pop socket makes it not fit well. It falls out sometimes because it needs to be just a little deeper to hold. I like the rotating holders at the bottom to help hold the phone up as well. When I use it without the pop socket, it's very sturdy.

The clamps to hold a phone broke after a month, I just want a good quality cell phone holder. I have purchased expensive and cheap ones and they're all trash.
