Sturdy and very bright
These arrived well packaged. Each light was bubble wrapped and it included a set of instructions. the panels themselves also came protected with a film to prevent them from scratching during shipping. When I see that style of packaging, to me, it means the company cares about first impressions. And it worked. Tells me right away this company does care about the quality of their product and wants it protected as best as they can.The main housing is made from some sort of ABS plastic, and it appears to be 100% sealed. I looked at every seam on all four lights and di not notice any openings. I am a mechanical engineer, and the actual plastic is thick, and it feels robust. The molding is smooth, meaning there are no sharp exposed edged caused by the mold. I have no doubt in my mind that these will stand up to our Northeast New England climates. On the base of the light there are two holes to be used if you want to secure this to something. And on the base of the light three is a hole for the ground spike to be inserted. The ground spike is id roughly 8 inches long and again is some sort of ABS plastic. It is also well made, again meaning no rough edges anywhere and the top is just a touch smaller than the hole in the bottom of the light housing. And this makes for a very nice “snug” fit.I do like that the light is adjustable. However, I (in my opinion) I wish the solar panel had a side to side “tilting” feature to it along with the up and down feature. This would allow me to literally place these lights anywhere and still be able to capture as much of the sun as possible. Just as a side note, the lights came already charged and that was a surprise.I will be using these lights to highlight my landscaping in the front of my house so the motion detection portion really will not apply to me. But there are multiple settings for different levels of sensitivity. These feel robust and I cannot wait to get these fully installed.

Well worth the money
These solar lights are the step up from others and worth the extra money. They're the first ones I've found that are motion activated, plus they have flexible solar panels. I especially appreciate the fact that you can set the level of brightness to prevent your home from being lit up like a truck stop - and my neighbors appreciate it too.

work right out of the box
These came out already with enough charge to go through the 3 settings and select which one you want. We were using them purely for landscape lighting, so the motion detection feature wasn't a big one for us. It was easy to stake in the ground and attach the light, you do need to make sure you line up the stake in then direction you want the light to shine as once it is on the. stake there is no movement of the light, side to side, but you can adjust it up and down and also move the solar panel. the solar panel is probably the one thing that I don't love about the lights, it is pretty big and not very nice to look at during the day. However, it is great that you don't have to wire these lights and you can put them anywhere in the ground, or attache them to a fence or wall, without the stake. I do wish the dim, on the light was a bit brighter. The bright motion sensor light seems nice and bright. These might have been better for us to use along the sidewalk path. Either way, they all work and brighten up a dark side of the house.

Easy setup, works well, nice and bright
These are motion sensing solar outdoor lights. The adjustable solar panels are great as you can position them to maximize their exposure to the sun, and in our location tilted panels maximize energy production. These are pretty sturdy, and the panels come with a protective cover you remove when setting them up. These offer three different modes which you toggle through using the on/off button. We use mode 2 which provides a low light throughout the night, and switches to a brighter light when the motion sensor is triggered.

Interesting features but can be brighter
I have in-ground solar spotlights all over my yards. This set is unusual because it offers a 100% highest intensity triggered by motion, an intermediate intensity triggered by motion otherwise stays on with low light, or a steady constantly on low beam in the dark. At first I was a bit unsure about how best to use it. Then I realized that by setting it to the intermediate intensity for the walkway to shine brighter when motion is detected is probably what I will do.Unfortunately the intensities in the steady on is so dim that it’s not worth using. The intermediate mode is ok but it looks like it was charged in a cloudy day. Only the high intensity that is triggered by motion matches the intensity of my other solar lights. I understand that this is to conserve batteries but performance wise it is subpar compared to the other brands that output much brighter intensity.
