My New Companion
I shopped online for a long time to find a replacement for another manufacturer's bag that I had used and loved for about fifteen years and was no longer available. I had my list of have-to-haves: lightweight, strong, one main compartment, one interior zippered pouch, at least one zippered outside compartment, excellently reviewed, and NOT black. And as an upgrade for me this time: spinner wheels. I traveled with my family to two destination weddings to see how easily spinner wheels were for them to get around in comparison to my wheel-behind. Since then, I have traveled a few times using this bag, and found it so easy to maneuver, that for the first time in all my traveling days, I could navigate TWO at the same time. Yes, I bought a second 25 inch bag (which I find to be the perfect size for a 10 day trip) so I could have 3 weeks of clothing and essentials with me for an extended stay. I could walk with confidence with these bags on either side of me, from the curb to the counter drop-off with ease. I think it may be worth noting that I am 5'2" and 112 lbs. Other styles and sizes of bags are awkward for me to manage, but not the Travelpro Marquis.

Good Lightweight Luggage, Love the Spinner Wheels
Really good luggage! I received one of these as a gift and ordered another one on Amazon. My husband and I used them for a 2-week trip to Europe. They were really lightweight and the spinner wheels made rolling them around much easier. They were also sturdy. We went through several airports and had to check them but the luggage held up well through our multiple transfers. Some of the rubber coating on the edges were a little worn at the end of our journey but there were no rips or tears. I think having lightweight luggage with good wheels made it a lot easier to travel. The last time I went to Europe I used heavier luggage with regular wheels and I remember feeling weighed down and irritated when I had to drag them around. Worth the money! I also ordered packing cubes which saved a lot of space.

Travelpro Doesn't Stand Behind Its Products
I bought this bag in 2015 based on the Amazon reviews. On only my second trip with it, almost a third of the bottom part of the zipper was open when I picked it up on the carousel. I took it to the nearest authorized repair facility, ABA SEMAR in Glendale WI (an over 120-mile round trip). I was given 2 excuses for why the zipper opened: the TSA used a pencil to open the zipper or something heavy fell on it. Blaming it on the TSA was bogus to me as the bag wasn't open enough for inspection, plus the zipper pulls were at the top of the bag. And checked bags need to hold up to heavy items falling on them. Next, I dealt with several levels of Travelpro customer service reps who added even more excuses for the zipper malfunctioning. It was telltale that one phone rep suggested taking it to another repair center but that would have involved expensive postage or an even longer trip with no guarantee of a different answer. Now I'm stuck with a nearly new suitcase that I can't safely check because of the risk the zipper will open again.

too much with too litte
I'd like to think that it is just the airline causing the wear/tear but this bag has been damaged 3x by airlines in a year. First a puncture to the nylon, then ripping off the zippers, and more recently just overall warping of the shape. This combined with the toiletry location being less than great. Every time i wonder if this is the trip when the location will cause the liquids to open up. I really think that losing pounds of weight compared with the crew series cause this to be no great.3stars b/c the wheel features work as advertised and the balance of the bag is good.

This has many great features. I've only used it on two trips
This has many great features. I've only used it on two trips, so I can't speak to its durability, but it appears to be well constructed of strong materials. One great feature is the the spinner wheels are held in a straight line by magnets. So you can turn or twist the direction, but while going in a straight line, the wheels are coaxed to stay as they are by the magnets. Also this baggage weighs almost nothing. Further it has a couple of nice sized interior pockets, one in clear plastic for carrying liquids. On the outside there is a large zippered pocket (for jacket or sweater) and a small pocket good for tickets and such. This is my first Travelpro, and I was pleasantly surprised.

The front pocket is perfect for storing a luggage scale
I'm loving this suitcase it has already been on five flights since I purchased it. The front pocket is perfect for storing a luggage scale, then there's a larger front pocket and the interior backlining wet stuff pocket that I use for things that have leak potential like hairspray. The fabric seems to be standing up amazingly well and the wheels are not busted yet which usually happens within two or three flights on most suitcases. I am 5'10" and the handle comes up high enough for me not to have to lean over with length to spare. It has an amazingly smooth glide and the wheels are much more durable than the usual plastic shell type. Unless something drastically unforeseen happens I will probably purchase TravelPro for my next set of luggage win this one wears out!

Perfect size, easy to maneuver
This suitcase looks good with a color that is not black like the rest. The handles are sturdy and stable and don't wobble. The magnetic wheel alignment does help a little with tracking in a straight line, especially on smooth flooring. The only thing I noticed was, after only 1 trip to Hawaii, there were faint lines on the fabric where it must have been thrown and contacted the plane cargo area or other luggage. There was no damage but I wonder how durable it is. Anyway, there is a lifetime warranty so I'm not worried. The size is great where it holds enough for a 1 week trip and with enough extra space to hold souvenirs, etc without bringing on-board another bag.

Great travel bag.
Bought this for a recent vacation. I needed something bigger than my normal carry on but did not want something larger. This was the perfect size for a seven day trip. I liked the light weight when empty. Performed well on the two trips I have used it. Would recommend.
