Great product at a great price! I enjoy these as a quick energy boost for pre-workout or during long hikes. I like the flavors and texture of these energy chews, although some may not. They are a bit gritty, but that is what I like most about them!

Back to the pineapple mango flavour I go. These were gritty and dusty textured, and tasted like soap. Also left a bad after-taste.

I saw this product in a Cancer Center where I have my prescriptions filled. I didn't want to drink those high energy drinks that are high in caffeine or sugar. So I spoke with the pharmacist and decided to give them a try. The taste isn't so bad & I like the extra energy it gave me threw out the day. It doesn't interfere with my High Blood pressure medication, nor do I have that "jittery/shaky" feeling. I will purchase them again. I didn't give it a 5 star rating because the price can be better if you are willing to shop around.

I like the mental alertness you get from them...but...1. they have carnuba wax and they leave a coating in your mouth...plus I prefer to use carnumba wax on my car not my body. 2. They are over priced. I have seen these sell for as low as $5.00 and as high as $30.00 for the exact same 30 count bag. They charge different prices for different flavors of the same thing.I have tried the drinks and they do not have the same effect.If I buy at all, I buy the powdered drink mix in individual serving packets and just dump the power in my mouth instead of putting it in water. No carnuba and has mental boost but not as good as the chews.

over the years, i have tried many energy boosters for my gym, bicycling, running, and soccer sessions. clifshot, hammer gel, gu gel, red bull, monster, honey stinger gel, coffee and some i can't remember. but i have found frs chews to be the most effective. they never give me boost or pick me up. but 1hr into my activity, i notice that i am still going like the energizer bunny. rather than starting off as a raging lunatic hopped up on sugar and/or caffeine leading to a crash, i'm a steady eddie with mild tea based caffeine and quercetin from the frs chews. i usually take 2 chews and they keep me going for 3 - 4 hrs.i also find the frs chews a great booster for the mid-day blues. i pop two chews after lunch and and am able to focus through the afternoon work. not sure of the exact science behind it but i find myself more in zone, getting my work done. i love these to dehydrated jitters of coffee. the low sugar content also helps.i am not a fan of the taste. i have tried all and find the pomegranate most palatable. that said, these are not candies but rather tools to help me achieve my goals. so, taste is not an important criteria for me when compared to the other, more important benefits.and the cost/benefit ratio is the best of all the boosters that i have tried. 2 chews keep this energizer bunny going for 3 - 4 hrs. at $20/pack of 30 chews, that is a $1.35 cost for 3 - 4 hours of steady eddie. i find that i have to take 1 gel shot approximately every hour. at around $1.50/shot, that is a $4.50 - $6 commitment for by 4hr bike rides. an afternoon pick me up starbucks cappuccino is a $4 hit compared to $1.35 for the chews. for a daily habit of morning and afternoon chews, $3/day keeps me going and going all day. when i find the frs chews cheaper, i'm a happier steady eddie.

I have to say these taste horrible. The taste lingers which just makes it worse! Not sure about the energy effect yet.

I have been using FRS products for over a year now. As an Amazon prime customer (free shipping) and the great price you can typically buy them for, not sure why you would buy from anywhere else. As for the product itself, the chews are the most convenient FRS product and I actually really enjoy the taste. Also found the small amount in caffeine in the chew is a good way of getting caffeine as opposed to coffee, sodas etc.

I have always loved these chews! I used to buy these through FRS. I bought these expecting the same quality but I think these ones have been on the shelf for a long time because they were not chewy but hard.
