Review: In cinque minuti ha individuato il guasto prima che facessi danni seri - L’esperienza di utilizzo è stata superiore alle aspettative. L’ho ricevuto tramite il programma Vine, ma nel frattempo ho potuto verificare anche un aspetto importante: gli aggiornamenti sono realmente gratuiti e arrivano direttamente dalla casa madre, come promesso. Mi è stato particolarmente utile sulla mia Ford 1.4 benzina/GPL del 2009. Il motore aveva iniziato a funzionare male e, collegando lo strumento, in poco più di cinque minuti ho avviato la scansione e individuato immediatamente il codice P0304, relativo all’accensione irregolare del cilindro 4. Sono così riuscito a evitare di continuare a usare l’auto rischiando danni più seri e ho potuto riferire al meccanico un’indicazione precisa, restringendo la ricerca a candela, bobina, cavi o iniettore GPL. Non sono un meccanico e proprio per questo mi ha sorpreso la facilità di utilizzo. Il manuale aiuta a individuare la presa OBD, i menu sono abbastanza chiari e la diagnosi è leggibile anche senza conoscenze tecniche particolari. La connessione a Internet è stata immediata usando il telefono come hotspot Wi-Fi. Sono presenti anche funzioni più avanzate e diversi reset, ma già la scansione completa dei sistemi e la lettura dei codici rendono lo strumento molto utile. La custodia rigida permette di conservarlo in sicurezza direttamente in auto, insieme ai cavi, mentre durante il collegamento alla centralina resta alimentato e può ricaricarsi. Nelle foto si vede sia la dotazione sia la schermata con il codice rilevato sulla Ford. Per me non è stato un semplice lettore di errori: mi ha consentito di capire subito dove fosse il problema e di fermarmi prima di peggiorare la situazione.

L’esperienza di utilizzo è stata superiore alle aspettative. L’ho ricevuto tramite il programma Vine, ma nel frattempo ho potuto verificare anche un aspetto importante: gli aggiornamenti sono realmente gratuiti e arrivano direttamente dalla casa madre, come promesso. Mi è stato particolarmente utile sulla mia Ford 1.4 benzina/GPL del 2009. Il motore aveva iniziato a funzionare male e, collegando lo strumento, in poco più di cinque minuti ho avviato la scansione e individuato immediatamente il codice P0304, relativo all’accensione irregolare del cilindro 4.
