Fellow enthusiasts all explained how difficult it was to find a simple solution and the results were usually quite expensive and cumbersome. The main problems were based around attaching the camera to the eye piece of the scope - not easy and slow to set up. Once fitted, the camera then prevented you from quickly using the scope, so it was irritatingly slow - remove camera and re-position the scope then re-fit the camera.In view of this I studied the devices available and because I didn't want to be tied down to a specific device for a specific camera, the mount had to be universal. Most I looked at were crude and flimsy - no good for a steady shot. The other issue was the ease at which I could mount and de-mount the camera - again most were cumbersome and time consuming. Then I found the Seben Mount. It looked well made and I was particularly interested in the way you could 'swing' the camera away from the scope in a simple and easy manner, then swing it back into position to take the photo. All sounded too good - especially for the amazingly low price!I ordered the Seben and waited. It arrived within 6 days and I was amazed at the quality of finish and construction - solidly cast from alloy (not plastic) and so easy to set up and use - perfect - you must get one - you won't be dissapointed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great little device :) *by G***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 September 2012* I wasn't sure what to expect with this little device as I was concerned about the weight of the device together with the weight of the camera hanging onto the eyepiece of my telescope, but once I hooked it up, there were no issues as it's a light but sturdy mount.What i like most about this mount, compared to other mounts, is that you can swing the camera away from the eyepiece, to have a look through the eyepiece, without actually taking the mount or camera off the eyepiece and then swing it back into place.I would suggest though you set the zoom before putting the camera onto the mount, as once you have it up against the eyepiece, you can zoom out, but not in, as the camera is up against the lens of the eyepiece.As long as you have a tripod screw hole, this mount should work with most cameras along with some webcams.Would recommend :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Seben Digital Camera Adapter for Spotting Scopes. *by B***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 May 2013* Received my adapter in the post from Germany just over a week from ordering it. I chose it after reading other reviews and thought it would be good for digiscoping with my new Vortex Razor HD 50mm scope. The construction of the adapter is well executed with the fit and finish being 1st class. The machining is crisp and radiusing and de-burring of edges shows care and thought in its construction. I was able to assemble it quickly despite there being no instructions on the Seben web-site as claimed in their blurb. There is plenty of adjustment available and it should accommodate most point-and-shoot cameras and might even take a small DSLR with a short focus prime lens. I especially like the spring ball detent arrangement that holds the camera arm when it is swung away for direct viewing through the scope eyepiece, a nice feature not mentioned in their advertising.
