pi5 compatible with pci gen1
Works in raspberry pi 5 but only with pcie gen1 compatibility mode. About 100MB/s then. 5 stars for good value

Not bad but why?
The performance is decent overall, but I'm unsure why the 4K benchmark score is slightly lower (a difference of nearly 2 times) compared to the previous one I bought. I conducted tests in two different setups: Tested using an M.2 NVMe enclosure (with the RTL9210/B chipset) that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2, connected via the Type-C port. Finally, tested by inserting the drive directly into the laptop's Gen 4 SSD slot. The results from all these tests can be referenced in the images I have uploaded below. (Bought 2 SSDs here, one on Oct. 3rd, and the other on Oct. 26th)

Japanese quality and 5 yr warranty at reasonable price
Was a toss up between WD 770 and Kioxia G3 plus 2TB. Contacted Kioxia support with few questions on specs and after sales support in India. Got response to my email with accurate details, links to spec sheet and contact info of Rashi as the local support Speedy response within 30 mins to my email. Using this as my external backup for my retro gaming image files each of them at about 250 gb in size. Using an old style USB (my laptop does not have usb-c) with a pibox nvme enclosure. Getting 280mbs transfer speed for backup. Am happy with performance for a legacy laptop. Sure I will get 800 or more with a usb-c external port
