Idea Waterproof Motorcycle Gear Indicator LED Shift Light for Ducati Hyper Monster Scrambler Supersport Superbike (Red)

I wish Ducati and all manufactures would just have gear indicators installed or at least do what Ducati has done and made a port available to quickly connect. I am having issues with the gear indicator for my R1 but this one for my Ducati is just spot on. Quick install and setup was a breeze. I was able to install it in the the parking lot as I was leaving work. Took about 10 mins, while 3 of those minutes was trying to figure out where to stick the unit. Definitely recommend this.

I like that it work on my 13 Ducati 848 evo. It plug into my port under my secondary seat. The kit come with a wire tap so no cutting. I use the wire tap on (12v Acc) yellow wire that run to my brake tail tight. Easy install. After that when I'm ready to go I make sure my bike is warm up. I unplug the connection port and replug so I can start programming the gear. During acceleration I just follow through all the gears as it display in screen and I was done. Easy peazy lemon sqeezy.

I was skeptical on the quality of this. But reviews seems pretty good, so I went ahead and ordered it. Showed up quick, everything needed is included. Very easy to install, plug and play, and just a matter of programming it through the gears. Only downfall, is the double sided tape that came with my kit didn't work so well. Luckily I had some 3m double sided tape, and used that instead. Indicator reads off shifts quickly, no delay, and easy to see. No more forgetting what gear you're in when out having fun.

Works great once installed. I suggest routing under the gas tank as it’s not really easy to route without doing that. Total 45 min of setup. Connected black wire to rear brake light yellow wire to work. Awkward to mount display as the tape they gave you does stick well, suggest some more industrial.

Delivery ok, good packaging with instructions. Does operate well, it does not follow the gear on the motorcycle.

I have a 2017 ducati monster 797. I connected the input to dda port and the power cable to the yellow wire of brake light. Oh also they have the quickest after sale support . When i lost the manual. They quickly send the manual to me..

This item is nice. But the thing is the adhesive is not sticky enough.
