Amazing IEMs
These IEMs are a must buy. It’s been about 2 months of non stop use and I have to say I am extremely impressed. The sound is so nice, clear and neutral with a slight bass boost that will make any genre of music sound so crisp. I love the design and they are so so comfortable for hours on end. I had two other sets before getting the AFUL Performer 5+2 and I gotta say I don’t use my other sets anymore and already sold one pair…. that’s how good these are. If your looking for neutral rich with slight bass boost tonality your in for a good time. Also love using these for competitive and casual gaming.

Love these IEMs, better than Blessing 2 x crinacle
These IEMS are amazing. Got them to replace my moondrop blessing 2 x crinacle and they blow them out of the water. They sound great for both listening to music and competitive gaming, have had 0 issues with them and will continue to use them every day.

Great all arounder iems
I am in love with these iems. I got these after I had been using the kz as 10 for a while and wanted something a more technical but still had good bass and trebble. These were just what the doctor ordered. The 2 dynamic drivers provide a well textured and solid bass with enough mid bass thump to not sound flat while listening to music or movies. The balanced armatures do an excellent job of bringing the mids forward with great detail. And the microplanar is running the highs providing a crisp and clear sound without being sibilant. I run these on a moondrop dawn pro 2 for music listening and off of my Xbox controller for gaming. The gaming with these is great I can gear footsteps clearly with precise directional awareness. Overall I think for an all around listening experience you could not do any better at this price.

Severe ear discomfort
The headphones are perfectly fine and well worth the price, HOWEVER the eartips cause severe pain and discomfort. The pain is the equivalent to an moderate ear infection around the rim of the entrance to the ear. Keep in mind this is from having the tips lightly floated on the ear, so I highly recommend to replace them.

Customize, then judge. (4.2 stars if I could)
Tl;dr: Pros - sound quality at medium volume, low impedance, and quality of accessories. Cons - sound quality at high volume and form factor of accessories. Full review: The tips were all (and there are a LOT of tips in the box) too small for me so I replaced them with my favorite foam Dekoni tips. Also, 8-core the cable was heavier/thicker than I like, with connector standoffs that were slightly too tall for the ear loop to fit comfortably. As a result the IEMs would slip out of my ears. I replaced it with the super comfy cable that came with my Linsoul EW300s. But you don't buy IEMs for the tips and cable they come with. Keep in mind that everyone's hearing is slightly different because of age, ear canal shape, and psychoacoustic profile. I like how they sound. Instruments don't melt into each other. No frequency range is too loud or overpowering. Bass guitar is especially clear, its harmonics being represented equally instead of being tilted toward the sub-bass end. The sibilance of the high end is also perfect to my ear. I have another set of IEMs with a planar tweeter and those upper harmonics of female head voices and heavily distorted guitars sounded harsh sometimes. They don't sound harsh to me on the Performer 5+2. They sound wonderful. Robert Plant's falsetto in Stairway and P!nk's head voice in U+Ur Hand gave me chills/goosebumps. So that was frequency response. Let's move on to soundstage/imaging. People have their own interpretations of what those things mean. To me they refer to the sense of physical distance between instruments or sounds, and the ease of switching focus between instruments, assuming the mix allows for it. This is where the Performer 5+2 really shines for me. I noticed while A/B testing them against some of my other IEMs that some music didn't feel like it was inside my head. It seemed like it was actually in front of me a little bit. This was especially true of stuff recorded in the 70s like Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and Pink Floyd. It also sounded like things weren't just separated horizontally, but vertically as well. I don't remember getting that impression before. At least not this strongly. The downside to the Performer 5+2 is that they lose a lot of that magic at high volume. I found that to be true with three high-quality DAC/amps. I can use them just fine in a quiet environment, but they just don't hit the same when I turn them up a little bit to compensate for street noise or my air conditioner. This is a huge disappointment for me because I wanted them to be my one-and-done solution for listening to music on-the-go. They are low impedance enough that they should work if I'm in quiet places, but traveling in the city is rarely that. I might still have to look for something that'll do what these do, just louder. Overall I'm pleased with it but wish it would retain its sound signature for one more click of volume.

Punching Above Class
Exceptional all-rounder. Excellent clarity, note weight, technicality and tonality. It punches far and above its class, right into the kilo-buck tier. I'll recommend these on that alone. Comfortable fit, beautiful design (imo) and light weight. The nozzles aren't chunky and are a good length. I use Spinfit W1's ear-tips. Excellent sound coupling with those. Gives a tight seal and are comfortable for hours. I fall asleep with these on quite often. Really wish I'd gotten an extra pair on Prime Day. SMH. Highly recommend! Note: One of my two-pin cable connections, was absurdly hard to insert at first. Could've been my set, but be mindful anyways, just in case there's a slight alignment issue with the connections and IEMS.

Clean, clear balanced sound
I can't find anything to complain about here. I don't speak Audiophilese, but these sound great with just about any genre. I've tried classical, EDM, rock, alternative etc. They give a very detailed sound. No frequency range overwhelms or muddies things up. But the treble is crisp and clear and the bass punches when needed. The tips are important. The stock tips didn't work for me. Sounded thin with them. I have many brands of tips...dozens and dozens of tips. Divinus Velvet narrow bore and Spinfit cp145 work great with these. I'm using the Divinus. Comfy and great sound. Everyone is different though. Just sharing what worked best for me. The shells look great. The 2 pin cable was very hard to plug in for some reason but it's really nice. I would see no reason to replace the cabke except maybe for modular. I've had several true wireless, including the latest over and in ear Sony XM5s, wired over ears and various cheaper wired IEMs as well as a couple in this price range. These are better than all of them. Highly recommended.

Great IEMs, poor return checking from Amazon
IEMs themselves sound great and are very comfortable. However I bought from Amazon resale, in condition was "Used - Mint". Once I got the IEMs the actual AFUL packaging was wrapped all the way around with packing tape so I doubt anyone checking returns at amazon checked inside. The IEMs themselves are fine and function perfectly well but the right side of the cable was broken out of the connector. Not an issue for me since I have several compatible cables but would be a large issue for someone newer to the hobby.

Amazing sound at this price point!
I was blown away by how detailed and engaging these iem's sound, rivalling others at twice the price. Unfortunately they were a bit uncomfortable for my small ears, but otherwise phenomenal in every aspect.

The Best IEM In-ear Headphone I Have So Far...
The best IEM I have, not regret at all, this treasure may with me for many years, I believe. The only thing I need to adjust is the bass level on the equaliser in the player; I like to set it to 7 or 8, and the overall sound is just perfect. The included earbuds (small) feel a bit tight, so I’m thinking of switching to foam tips (Dekoni), but I’m still undecided—I’ll give them a listen first. Overall, for this price point, the sound quality is unbeatable; I don’t regret it one bit.
