Try something else!
I purchased this for my daughter who needed it urgently following a flood warning. It arrived promptly, good outer packaging and a sealed plastic inner pack, but the pump connector was missing. The pump itself was a small, very cheaply made item which dispensed a couple of small ball bearings but no air. I've had more useful items from a Christmas cracker. I returned it straight away, excellent collection service and refund from Amazon as usual.I ordered a second unit and this was also delivered quickly and well packaged. Nothing was missing, but the pathetic Christmas cracker toy pump was totally useless. It appeared to pump air, but where it went I don't know, it certainly didn't go into the (inflatable?) tube. I tried the unit in the toilet using a car foot pump, it inflated and made a good seal. On deflating it and removing it from the toilet bowl, the rubber ring, which was attached to the plastic part with adhesive, virtually fell off. I decided to accept it as it was needed urgently and bought a bicycle pump to replace the toy one. Not too late to send it back though! These criticisms are no reflection on either of the companies that supplied this, it is made in Indonesia and shipped in a sealed bag, but hopefully they are aware of what a poorly made item this is.In the meantime, the river levels have dropped and the flood warning is over.......

Three Stars
An emergency back up product that is useful to have if you are at flood risk. It fits.

Not Fit for Purpose
have had to return all the Panseals that I bought. All of them leaked whilst being pumped up. The manufacturer will not take responsibility for the problem.I have phoned DIY stores who have tested the product whilst I stayed on the phone. Each time when they tested a Panseal, it leaked. A few weeks ago, an unsolicited caller offered to install anti-flood devices in my home, one of those devices was a Panseal. He demonstrated the Panseal but it leaked! The manufacturers fail to inform purchasers that the Panseal will not fit some toilets. The inventor of the product has failed in his attempts to get the manufacturer to make this clear to customers.Panseal has been tested by a British Standards testing house but according to them the Panseal only worked sometimes so claiming it has been independently tested is meaningless as there is no recognised method of testing. You will note that the claim is that the Panseal has been 'tested', not that it has actually passed any tests!!!The product is totally useless and the suppliers of the product (Active Products) are even worse, denying that they even sell it! The manufacturers (Floodtite) deny there is any problem whatsoever with the product. A representative of the company was very rude in dealing with the issues and, in effect, called me a liar when I informed him of the problems.I would not recommend the Toilet Panseal, Active Products or Floodtite to any prospective customer.
