Jewelry mezuzah necklace with the prayer inside. This seemingly simple design needed a lot of precise calculation. A pendant has a shape of a cylinder with nine almost square openings -"windows", creating a sophisticated geometric design with a very deceiving look of simplicity. The openings allow you to see a glass tube inserted into the silver case, which contains the prayer of Shemah. The tube is sealed from both sides protecting its contents from damage. Black enamel underlines the Star of David at the top and at the bottom of the pendant and covers the "frames" of the windows. This classy pendant will look great both with a shirt and with the evening dress and will be appropriate for men and women. The pendant is about 1.4" long including the bail. It comes with a sterling silver 18" chain and a small booklet with the text of the prayer, you will be wearing. On one page of the booklet the prayer is printed in Hebrew and its translation into English is on the other page. The prayer is printed, not handwritten, so, if you are very particular about it, it is not kosher according to the tradition, but again, it is a piece of jewelry and not a door mezuzah.
