I was a bit surprised when I opened the package from Amazon to discover a 'Car Headrest Mount' in the box, with a sticker slapped on it saying 'Suitable for microphone stands'. The different-sized rubber inserts make sense now — they're intended to fit the different size stems on car headrests rather than different sizes of mic stands (the smallest one could only fit a mic stand made for garden gnomes).Apart from that, the clamp seems to be fairly well-made, and is more solid than I thought it might be. My biggest concern is the stem attaching the clamp to the stand is made of plastic and gets quite narrow so it doesn't look like it would take much abuse. The clip that goes around the mic stand (or headrest) also seems quite flimsy.I'll probably only use this for a little while before getting something that I might feel a bit more confident in, like a Grifiti Nootle (which I've used for a while with other tablets and builds up into a modular system). At least if I get something else, I know I can still use this one in the car for the kids!

I find this item difficult to use with my tablet. Works fine with a smart phone but need a too much effort to make it easy to attach my galaxy A9. Kind of expected like a ratchet adjustment but it's spring loaded and it's a strong spring. Also made from a really plastic kind of plastic if that makes sense.

Just what I needed to hold my iPad while playing my guitar. Can now have all my music in front of me while playing along.

My iPad is 17”. Found if very difficult to place iPad between grips. Used it for 1 gig. 2 gig the plastic gripper on one end broke and my iPad smashed to the ground. Nice product if you have a small air iPad or similar.

This is such a great piece of kit to have. The build quality is very high standard, it feels very robust and stable. I am able to use it with my iPhone 8 Plus due to it's expandable grips, which can also hold small tablet (iPad mini) or quite a large tablets like my partners (iPad Pro 12.9") It's universal clamp fits many different sizes of mic stands and is incredibly easy to use and install which is rare with these sort of things. I really like how easy and compact it is for transport from gig to gig. It comes apart in two separate pieces which are very simple to attach and detach from each other. I cannot praise this mount enough it literally takes seconds to install and is very sturdy once fitted. I highly recommended to all musicians looking for a reliable and sturdy tablet mount that is easy to use and is also relatively cheap compared to others on the market.
