The unit was a little smaller than I expected, but also a little brighter than I expected (so I guess that balances out). I thought I would mention the size, and include a photo in my hand, since no size was mentioned in the description. The light housing is 6.5" long.

Go from "No Hit" to "Holy Sh*t"
So I gave this a shot tonight after a dry spell, I figured it would help, but not as much as it did. After about 30 minutes, what I thought were bugs in the water turned out to be tiny little bait fish, I didn't even know we had little shiners in our lake like this, I netted one and checked it out, there were tons of them, nothing worth putting a hook in though so I let them swarm hoping it would draw in some bigger fish. About an hour later there were some bigger bass (9-10 inch Stripers), but they didn't seem interested in my bait, just the light. About 90 minutes from when I dropped the light in there were fish all over the light, so thick at points that thought was barely visable. I typically use some fresh bait on a pole or two and run a lure at the same time on another pole. I got to the point that I had to start casting far out and letting the fresh bait practically hit the bottom and slowly bring it up until it was under my boat (about 35 feet down). I had to go down to 1 pole because it was hit after hit. Once I got down beneath the top swarm, the bigger guys were down there, I pulled in a few 16+" Stripers. My conditions:Dark clear night.About 1/2 mile from shore.Fishing in a spot where I rarely get a bite.Didn't chum the water, had no luck with lures but was having too much fun with catching the larger ones at the bottom.Tips:Don't connect it until it's in the water, this thing is super bright.Anchor down and be PATIENT - they will eventually come.Use lots of weight to get it past the smaller guys on top, or cast out about 15 yards to get it out of the light, then bring it towards you to stay deep.I fish in Lake Havasu in Arizona, we have tons of Striper, I release everything. Next trip out I'm going to just fish lures and see how it goes. This is cheating, plain and simple, but cheating's not always bad (Ask Tom Brady). As far as quality of the light goes, I was a little suspect, it didn't seem like a solid seal, but after about 3 hours there wasn't a drop of moisture in there. I may still seal it a little better just to be safe. There was barely any draw on the battery, i kept checking, paranoid in the middle of the night I'd kill my battery, it barely moved my battery gauge though.I'm not sure why there's any negative comments on here, this is a great product. The people with issues more than likely didn't let it sit long enough.

Amazing product!!
I spent a beautiful saturday night out on the lake of the ozarks with my best friend for 9hrs in a boat i just bought (14ft aluminum v hull nothing fancy). That night we did not use this and literally didnt get a single bite. Fast forward 2 nights and we drop this bad boy in the water (i forgot it on saturday night oops) and up to that point we had no bites. Once this was in the water, within in minutes we had thousands of minnows and larger fish eating them. I dropped down a large bluegill minus the head. Also had cutbait on another pole along with my buddy and his son had other baits. We began to get bites and started catching , catfish blue and channel and crappie. About 30min later my big pole with the large bluegill on it slammed to the water and i had hooked into the largest fish ive ever seen in my life. We were unable to get it in the boat as our net was not large enough but with the light even though it was 2am we could see the size 40-60lb blue at least. I do not think if we had not used this product we would not have caught anything again. I love this light and will be buying more to use all over this boat. I got green color. I will be going back down in a couple weeks to try to get that fish again this time with a larger net lol. Sorry for being long winded i am still in shock about this product. I didnt believe it would work but going from 9hrs of nothing to catching countless fish beginning shortly after we dropped this into that water. Mind you we did not use it immediatlly when we went out but after a couple hours of not getting a bite. We went to same spots as that saturday evening. Ok im done rambling

A tornado of shad!
I used this light for the first time last night and it performed better than I expected. It's fun watching the progression from microscopic life being attracted to the light at first then bait fish then finally the big ones. There was a school of shad swimming in a 30ft circle and 25ft deep around the light. The big fish would hang out on the bottom 25-30ft and pounce on stragglers from the school.I caught spotted bass, largemouth bass, striped bass, white and black crappie. Talk about fun!The light is very bright and, in clear water, puts out a huge radius of light surround itself. It uses very little power from a 12v battery which is a huge plus. I'm very glad I bought this light and I recommend it to anyone looking to some night light fishing. It really brings them in! I was thinking about getting another one but after seeing it in action you don't need more than one for a small craft with 1-3 people. You might do well with two lights if you are fishing from a large craft with several people.

well designed
for a unit this small it gives off a good deal of light. I read others reviews and per their advise is used a sealer on the bottom cap. Not sure it was needed but I've used it a few times and no leaks. word of advise don't go nuts lowering it to deep as no light will handle 20 foot of water pressure. 3-4 feet will attract the fish and not damage the light.

Not just for fishing!
I spend a lot of nights on my sailboat which is located on a lake. Carp have been keeping me up at night banging on the bottom of the boat. People usually put out bulky clamp on 100w flood lights to attract Gar which do a good job of keeping Carp away. This light makes this task much easier. Compact but super bright, this green led light works great. Also keeps from dealing with extra light from flood attracting bugs. Great unit, no issues yet.

Not as good as the JSHANMEI 12V-24V 10
Not as good as the JSHANMEI 12V-24V 10.8W would have sent it back if I could have gotten a white JSHANMEI 12V-24V 10.8W. But wil see how it goes

Happy so far
Product smaller than expected, but very bright. Hopefully it will hold up to being submerged overtime. Quick shipping.
