Looks REALLY good in a very dark room.
OK, this thing looks pretty good in complete darkness and still OK in normal room light. I like that it can run off of battery or usb connection, and they provide a micro USB cable. My only real dig, and it's not really worth a whole start by itself, is supposedly it has a strobe function. When I think of strobe, I think of something that flashes kinda fast, and this doesn't really. There is a flash mode too, and I can't tell much of a difference between them. The colors are good, and I like the different modes. Build is a bit cheap, but this isn't exactly a high dollar item and as long as the LED's hold out, it should be fine.

Fun night light for Star Wars fans.
I got this for my little boy who loves everything Star Wars and is need of a night light. I love the remote and that he can control what color to set it on in the comfort of his bed and also exchange patterns each night. I like the look of this night light and seems like good quality. I gave it a four star because it seems more like a 2-D than a 3-D I was expecting the width to look more 3-D dimensional. Overall I like this product.

Really worth. Try if you have a Star Wars fan
This is a pretty cool product once you figure it out. I’m an intelligent woman who followed the directions and was originally disappointed by this product. The instructions didn’t tell you to remove the protective one sided film. Once I removed this on my own and tried again, it lit up as shown. The plastic is a little cheap and I had to lightly trim an excess piece of the plastic to get the plates in. I’ve only used once to test before I wrapped. I will update once it’s fully in use.

In a galaxy far far away... Ohio
This was a gift for one of our favorite little boys - our 50 year old brother-in-law, who truly believes that Darth Vader was one of the most misunderstood villains in cinematic history. His son got this in the R2D2 version as a gift at his 9th BD party. A jealous dad said "I want one". This was the perfect gift for our Star Wars geek. He loves his new Dark Side nightlife. May the force be with US...

Pretty cool
Okay, I bought the lamp cause I'm a fan of Star wars. It's fun to switch between the four different plates and easy to change colors.Only thing thing bad I will say is that each of the four acrylic plates has a paper back that you have to remove first. There are no instructions on how to do that. I had to come on here to find that out.Otherwise it's a cool decoration for the Star wars fan in your life, without breaking the budget.

Brown Backing
The brown backing that is put on the plates for protection, I suppose, is incredibly hard to get off. I am not impressed with the amount of time it takes to remove it. That being said, it is pretty nice otherwise. Everything that I was told would be there, was, and it came packaged nicely. It hasn't been used yet, because it is for a gift, so I can not say if it works good or not. Will update that later.

Great (and fun) Night Light!
My kids love this night light. From a practical perspective, it isn't too bright yet allows enough light for the kids to make their way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. From a fun perspective, the kids love changing the colors and light patterns, which means variety and a sense of novelty every night when its time for bed. Although the paper coating was a little difficult to remove and the cord shorter than what we would have preferred (fixed by changing it out with a longer small universal USB cable), its been a great asset to a bedtime routine!

Starwars Lamp
The lamp itself is great, however the usb piece broke the second I teied connecting it. If you have a better usb cable I suggest you use that.
