Excellent quality . Easy to install on frame and looks great . I used construction grade adhesive for frame and was very happy with how it stayed square and access door fits perfect on & off multiple times .

The Access door hatch is a bit flimsy and weak. I needed to install this in the ceiling for a hatch door. The hatch sides itself do not have enough edge spacing to drill screws into it to hold it in place so you have to try and find the right spot to grab this hatch to hold. And when you drill screws in all four sides, it pulls the cover away from the sides without a tight closing and just drops the cover down or the cover does not stay flushed in place. So, I now had to unscrew only two sides of the hatch (which I now made holes for no reason) to release the plastic hatch slightly on each side so it can close properly. Another words, this was not made too strong to hold the door shut.

This access panel is a bit flimsy so you need to be careful installing it. Others have had problems with the door falling open. I places mine on the ceiling and have no problems with the door. The secret is, I think, to cut the hole so the panel fits easily without contorting the frame at all. I used spring clamps to hold it in place while the adhesive dried. That said the panel is flimsy and easily contorted. For me it looks as good as any acces panel can, which is to say it is ugly. Necessary but lamentable.

Great product! I used it in my basement to cover the gas meter. I was a perfect fit. I painted my walls white so unless you get close you cannot tell that there it’s a access door.

I liked the ease of installing this product. It covers an attic access in one of my closets. Does not let heat/cold air in. Overall pleased with this product.
