The extra wiring did come into play and it helped out a lot just be sure that you have the right prongs on the original what you should if you're buying this product. So I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is buying the extra wire

Just what I needed
Wire was perfect to finish installing my rocklights on my truck. Just wish they had a shorter version too, 10 ft was a little over kill.

Really good quality
Used to make a harness for RGB demon eyes on a truck. And to my surprise the wires inside were color coded almost the same colors the RGB strips use. So it was easy to use instead compared to trying to find what wire is doing which if the inside wires where a single color.

Check all your equipment before install.
The media could not be loaded. Out of 7 boxes 2 of the cables were faulty and found after installed. Had to troubshoot and swap out bad cables. 1 did not power the pod and another would not light the blue led. Who knows how long they will actually last. This might be a waste of money and time.
