By visualizing their story-telling (the name given by the psychologists to their fantasies) the film portrays the confessions, the secret longings, the adventures, recollections, dreams, desires and fantasies of these women. It is an open secret that most women dream of forbidden affairs, secret lovers and hasty encounters but when it comes down to it they lack the courage to pursue their dreams. ...P.O. Tinto Brass near the top of his game.
A benchmark of Italian domestic relationships . Witty with Tinto Brass' hallmarks.

PO box tinto brass
One of my favourite erotic directors, his "actresses" are wonderfull. They are tongue in cheek but that is what its all about in my eyes

A WINTER WARMER!
There is something warmly nostalgic about this compilation of short films by Tinto Brass. Whilst it is undoubtedly soft-porn, the emphasis is on 'soft' and even a prude would be hard-pressed to find anything distasteful about this film, as there is not a trace of nastiness anywhere in sight. In short, the film is made up of dramatisations of written fantasies, sent to Brass's PO box. The actresses he uses are not well known in the uk but are all gorgeous!Tinto Brass is frequently criticised for his obsession with ladies' bottoms.Well I can think of many more harmful and far less pleasurable obsessions than Brass's and the classic Italian lady's bottom is, in my humble opinion, streets ahead of the competiton! For those unfamiliar with his work, Brass operates in the territory Benny Hill would have occupied, if he had been more laid back and producing material for the big screen, instead of the TV. It is gratifying to note that Brass never takes himself too seriously.Great art this is not but, all in all, I can think of few simple pleasures better than curling up with this film on a cold winter's night. On a technical note: The dubbing is awful. The sound is equally awful, but should be fine if you tweak it through your hi-fi system. Let's be honest, you're hardly searching for daring repartee and rapier-like wit, if you're watching this type of film (the dialogue is of a 'carry on' standard). I would have preferred letter-box format and subtitles, but heaven can wait.
