Good sturdy environmentally friendly plates that are wood and paper free and compostable
We used these plates for a recent brunch for 50 plus people. We had fruit and breakfast tacos, so both sloppy things and hot and cold. The plates held up wonderfully and looked nice, too. They are fairly thick, sort of like Chinet, and equally durable. But the nice thing is that they are not a paper product, so they do not require the use of tree products or the logging of trees, and they are compostable, even when thrown in with regular trash. The composting then takes longer, but they still break down. So their manufacture AND their disposal are more environmentally friendly than the more typical paper products. Because we had so many people, and many were kids, and the event was out of doors, we could not use regular dinner ware, and just wash the items afterwards, which would have been even more toward zero-waste. But using these and compostable cups and flatware at least helped. We also composted all food scraps that were not animal based. This way, we could feel better about the impact of our event.

Outstand eco-supportive product. Well made for daily use.
We use these as our daily plates and have been very happy with their performance. The central surface of the plate is polished, or somehow smoothed down to stop leak through or sticking food. Of course, the best part is how they are manufactured. Great idea. Company should do lots more facebook or direct mail sample dist. with educational info/promotion. (Plus, on weekend afternoons, the kids have a blast making these plates into masks.)

I feel a little less guilty
For the last couple of years I've spent most of my time living/traveling in a tiny house. My water is stored in a tank that has to be refilled routinely, which is a minor hassle and one of the few downsides. Doing dishes eats up a lot of my water capacity and makes those refills happen more often, there's limited counter space for dishes to dry on. It can be difficult to securely store dishes in a way they won't be bumped off of the shelves when driving, too. (And alright, I'm a little lazy too.)I try and use mostly disposable dishes for this reason, but have felt increasingly guilty about how much styrofoam and plastic trash I was producing. With these, I'm still producing waste -- but my guilt is at least alleviated a bit knowing these will degrade much quicker than styrofoam. The plates themselves are very sturdy, similar to the extra thick paper ones. The price isn't much different from those either. I have used in the microwave for a couple minutes at a time with no problems.

Very stong durable plate
I was very impressed with the strength of the plates! I piled high the food and the plate didn't sink at all! Solid Solid Solid plates!!! It was way stronger than the standard paper and one use plastic coded plates at the grocery store. I felt good buying a product that is helping the environment. But to be honest, the pricing is not competitive for large cities that have grocery stores on every corner. Most 100 plate products cost less than $5.00. If they lower their price to $8.00 or $9.00 it would be very competitive with the strength of the plate. I found wheat plates of 100 for around $5.00 but they were just a little smaller at 7”. I just don’t understand paying anything over $10.00 for one time use plates. I did try to use a wet scrubbing brush on the plate to see if they could be reused and noticed a thick pulp like material from the scrubbing on top of the plate. This just shows it will break down nicely in the environment.

Shipping sucks
Product is exceptional and the perfect size, however, the shipping time is ridiculous even if coming to Hawaii. It’s delayed again( I’m on auto delivery) and probably lost again.

Sturdy and biodegradable! Great combination!
We used these plates at a wine and cheese pairing today at our retirement community. They were perfect for our needs. Our community is going green and I selected these plates because they looked to be sturdy and they were. They are biodegradable which was a huge part of my decision. We are very happy with how they performed. They are light beige in color and we used teal napkins They looked nice together.Sue

Love it
I have all sizes including bowls or cereal and nothing goes through. It takes it a lot for any type of oils to see-through.

Perfect During kitchen renovations.
I bought these plates so we could use them guilt free during our kitchen renovation, since we didn’t have a sink. They were amazing. Durable, I even reuse some occasionally. And I didn’t feel bad about disposing them after a meal. I would buy these again, if I were going camping, on road trips or even for mass potlucks or dinners. It’s great to see more biodegrabdle products in the market these days!

Incredible!
These plates are amazing! Very sturdy and have a nice feel. My daughter spilled water on the plate and it caught it and didn't turn into a soggy mess. Definitely glad I purchased these and will buy again.

Great product, disappointing packaging
The plates great, however when you advertise a compostable product it’s disappointing when it comes wrapped in plastic. I purchased the product because I want to reduce my plastic use.
