I love these. They are exactly what I was needing ...
I love these. They are exactly what I was needing and within my price range. For some people, these cameras might not meet their expectations. But for me they were an upgrade. I had a couple other cameras (different brand) that quit working and I needed replacements. I use these mostly to keep an eye on my kids who are spending the summer home alone. They are teenagers and well you know how that goes. So I got 4 cameras. Set up was easy enough. Husband did the install and it wasnt too complicated. Two of them are for viewing the main living areas and also inside the front and back door. I can see if anyone is coming or going. The other 2 I positioned pointing out a front window and a back window. So now I have coverage of the outside of my house and driveway and back porch as well without having to purchase outdoor cameras. I read in someone else's review that did this and they said you have to turn off the night vision or all you see is the reflection of the glass at night. I did this and it works perfectly for me. You will need an outside light on or its too dark to see anything. The night vision for the other cameras that view inside the house works great. Picture is clear. You can zoom in if needed. They have a nice wide view so I see more than my old cameras showed. Motion sensor is working good, I've been getting regular notices. Or I can set the app to 'home' and I dont get notices. Audio is good. I can listen and talk with my kids if I need to. Which is great when they dont answer their phones. Its stores 36 hrs of footage without the cloud. I havent set up the cloud services. I'm not sure I'll need to at this point. The only thing I wish is that when you open the app you could see a live feed of all 4 cameras at the same time. Instead of clicking open each camera one at a time. But like I said, for the great low price these cameras meet my expectations. If anything changes I'll update my review.*** update 1 month later. I'm even happier now. they did an update on the app that allows you to see 4 cameras at the same time. This... this is what I wanted!!!

Security vulnerabilities
The camera is good, But the App is not safe Too much loophole please try with two mobile phones to login, after the same account login, the A mobile phone login, B mobile phone also logged in, with A mobile phone to change the password, B mobile phone can still operate the video equipment, if the B mobile phone did not exit the APP has been able to operate the video, B mobile phone left in the background, even if your account how to change the password ,the B mobile phone or see the video, until the B mobile phone out of the background to log in from the new landing, loophole not safe

Maybe......Maybe not
These cameras are okay (a little overpriced, but guess you're paying for the "name") and I like that they have descent night vision........okay, okay.......it's "okay" night vision. Very easy to set up........as opposed to some others that I ended up sending back to Amazon. What I don't like about the Zmodo ecosystem is paying for cloud storage that you don't know if it's actually working or not. I have a six month trial on my four indoor cameras, and so far, I'm not that impressed. The Android phone app isn't too great either. Not so sure that works correctly either. The selection of features doesn't really meet my expectations as when you put the cameras on the sleep mode, and have certain cameras actually "off" in that mode, they are NOT off but filming and supposedly storing to the cloud. So if you have a camera in your bedroom, you're in for a treat of cloud storage bedroom scenes.......I'll leave that to your imagination I learned to unplug the bedroom cameras real quick!!. I unplug the cameras in the "home" mode in my family room, Living room, and bedroom, as I get all kinds of notifications, even though I have set the cameras to be off while I'm at home. I haven't found any "motion sensitivity" options on the app. So does the Android app actually work......I don't know. Doesn't appear to, especially in Home mode, or Sleep modes. Could I recommend these cameras, I'm stuck on a "Maybe you should, maybe you shouldn't!!!" IMHO, I'm thinking of other possible options.I forgot to mention.......you do get alert clips for the past 36 hours for free (is that long enough??), and that might be a good thing, but is that really good or not when you get free storage with Blink cameras, or just use an SD memory card on, say for instance, a Reolink Argus 2 ??Update 10/11/2018These cameras are a nightmare. They don't update. Zmodo has ZERO customer service and ZERO help!!! Zmodo states that their servers may be at capacity and to update later. Well Hell......if your going to sell security cameras, the servers should have been able to handle that amount of update data in the first place!!!! DO'H!!!! Don't get these!!!! Seriously, do research on other security camera options ,because this isn't it!!!

Best performance and price among the dozen makes/models I'm using
Excellent cost per camera for HD wide angle cameras. New model is a big improvement in terms of adjustability: Can mount them high and point them sharply down, no problem, and the lens swivels to the right angle. Installation is super easy: Have installed half a dozen of this model, on three different networks, with no problems. Very small and light, so easily mounted. Camera image isn't the sharpest, but is plenty good enough for my surveillance needs. Cameras will record a short loop when they detect motion, and that loop can be viewed for about a day and a half for free. Most all other cameras require subscriptions at extra cost for that kind of cloud feature. Motion detection takes some fine tuning: You'll either get lots of false alarms, or miss some events. App is excellent, with the ability to group up to four cameras. I have multiple groups of four cameras each. Very convenient to be able to see four live video feeds all at once rather than calling them up one by one. Video feeds come up very fast vs. my D-link and Zmodo cameras, which can take 10-30 seconds to establish a connection. I have probably a dozen different models of monitoring cameras, from five different brands, and these particular Zmodo cameras are the hands-down winners in terms of functionality and features for the price.
