These barefoot shoes by HOBIBEAR are lightweight and the various bright colours make them well suited for wearing during the warm seasons.The design is similar to the pump style but with a wider fit in the toe area, which makes them quite comfortable.I like the elasticated laces which do away with tying and allow these shoes to be worn like slip-on loafers.The canvas upper makes them lightweight and the anti-slip soles ensure a good grip while walking/running.I would have liked that the insole had more prominent arch support and massage points, especially when worn barefoot.

These Hobibear brand wide fit canvas slip on casual shoes are fairly flat foot shaped footwear that very much remind me of retro school plimsolls with the shape of baby’s shoes. On the box they came in, they are oddly described as ‘unisex men’s trainers’. I ordered the grey in a UK 6 1/2, they are true to size, but not particularly wide. They’re comfortable, but after a while I was aware the end of toe in the shoes were perhaps too flat on top and feeling a tad uncomfortable. (I’m female with average, slightly wide feet). The grey is a pale grey toe cap with an off white canvas body and white sole. Inside is completely flat, no arch support, which I found comfortable. The laces are stretchy and can’t be tied up. They are flexible being canvas so ideal for home gym workouts, I’d recommend a size up if you have wide feet to accommodate your toes better. These shoes are lightweight with a flexible sole. Plenty of room for the toes. I'm a UK 6/EU 40 and the 6.5 was just right for me. Not quite sure how to tie up the laces - you can pull them up, but there's not enough length to tie a bow. Not the most attractively shaped shoes, but I'll wear them indoors for now.

I got these for my 11 year old and she finds them very comfortable. Visually they do remind a little of duck feet but the roomy toe box makes them comfortable. They appear to be well made and the sole is super flexible. There are various colours to choose from. I do wish the brand name along the side of the shoe was subtler though as it does stand out quite a bit.
