When you say cobalt bits make, make sure to specify %. These are decent tools and will perform quite well in milder stainlesses and low carbon steel. They are not pure cobalt so they aren't as durable butwont shatter like 100% Co.

I purchased these with the intention of drilling holes in hardened steel. So far, I have used 2 of the bits albeit on softer metals, but they by far out performed the titanium coated bits I had on hand and easily cut through the material. I look forward to using them for their intended purpose and think they will stand up to the job.

I bought this set several days before. My husband said this is more than what he expected. Good quality, good storage box and easily carry out. Match our Ryobi drill very well. It's very easy to make a hole on any material you can meet. The most important thing is keep them and your drill far away from your kids, really dangerous.

See above, straight drill bits result in round holes being produced. Something that poorly made bits do not produce, like most of those made in China and Mexico, that look nice but do not drill accurate round holes

Chewed through 2 exhaust bolts like it was nothing. Usually the 1/8" bits are wobbly but this one was solid and straight all the way through. The case is going in the trash.

Honestly I didn't except that much before I received these drill bits, but they seriously surprised me, they cut well with a minimal pressure, and the price is pretty nice, it's an awesome tool to have, nice choice!
