I’ve been doing my nails at home for many years, and I use acrylic, gel, and polygel, so I often rely on an electric drill for shaping and filing. The dust from the drill can create such a mess, and I’ve always wanted a nail dust collector to keep things tidy. I decided to give to this nail dust collector a try, and it has completely changed my nail routine!I’ve used it a few times now, and for non-professional use, it’s been fantastic. The machine works great even at medium power, sucking up almost all the dust while I file and drill my nails. No more pesky dust left around on the table or my clothes after filing, what a relief! While you still need to file and drill your nails on top of the machine, it does an excellent job keeping the dust at bay.I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is! I expected it to be noisy, but honestly, my nail drill makes more noise than this collector. It’s much quieter than I anticipated, which is a huge plus for me.Highly recommend!

Brilliant! Works and absolute treat. Not noisy, pulls in the nail/polish dust and is very easy to operate and clean. Makes the area much tidier and the air easier to breathe. Love it. Melody Susie products are fabulous.

The media could not be loaded. It's working very good actually just a small amount on my clothes but that's probably because of the weird angle that I have to hold my hand and probably blocking the way

This is great value for money. It’s quiet on the low setting which is fine for what I do in the salon as I don’t do acrylics. The higher setting is noisy but it really keeps your area dust free. It’s a compact size too

This is unreal. I'm a full time nail tech and always wear a mask.. this doesn't even allow dust to reach anywhere near my face. It's amazing. I've looked at expensive ones and thought I'd try this first after reading good reviews and I can quite safely say I've saved a fortune for something that works amazingly well, at a fraction of the cost of others. Highly recommend

MelodySuzie nail dust collector. The box that this item comes in implies quality. The machine is easy to operate with a choice of 3 fan settings. The exhaust fan is powerful and puts out a lot of air. Unfortunately, as nail fillings naturally fall down due to gravity it is difficult to determine whether this device actually attracts finer particles that would usually float in the air. I have tested it using cotton thread and it does suck the thread onto the surface especially at the higher settings. The higher settings also hold one end of the thread on the surface whilst the other end blows in the powerful air flow from the exhaust vent. I really wanted to like this device, but I am not sure that I do because of the powerful exhaust vent. If you don’t get all of your nail or other dust perfectly over the top of the unit then the exhaust vent will blow it everywhere making a greater area of a mess. My partner has a compressor with a blower gun attachment so I will use this to clean the reusable filter as I think it will do a much better job than a hair dryer and save on expensive replacements. The primary use for me is sanding rough edges from my resin castings for jewellery and ornaments.

So far it seems really good. I have bought it for safe control and to contain dust when crafting/sculpting. I am not into nails, but I’m sure my review is applicable to both nail enthusiasts and crafters alike.I like the size of the platform to work over. It is quite powerful and more quiet than I thought it would be. I am noise-sensitive, so this is important to me.I bought it when it was on discount offer, and not sure I’d have bought it otherwise. Now knowing how good it is, I think it’s a great piece of equipment and well worth it for peace of mind for health when working.
