Love it. Wasn't paying attention when we ordered it, and failed to notice that it requires a "stud" to mount to. No problem, just drilled out the plastic ball on the top of our pole and bolted it in place. Easy fix. You'll want to notice that the light shines straight away from the fixture. Since my pole mounts at 45 degrees, I mounted the light to shine straight down on the flag, not in line with the pole, for best illumination. Wouldn't hesitate to reorder when needed.

We have tried several solar lights for our flag pole, none of which held up or provided the light needed for Old Glory. We installed this light in the afternoon straight from the box. That night it glowed beautifully on our Flags as well as the ground surrounding the pole. We love the feature of 3 different settings. These pictures show the light on high. Extremely easy to install and it comes with rechargeable batteries. Awesome value!

I previously had a solar light that wasn't anywhere close to the quality of this one. Simply put, this light is superior highly recommended to potential buyers. Prior to purchasing, I read a review that stated, " their was no way of knowing what position the off/on switch was in". I suggest, pressing the off/on switch, cover top solar panel and the light will shine if in the on position: if not press the off/on switch again. I installed my new solar light on my flag pole earlier today after letting it sit in the sun for only a few hours this afternoon. I had to reconfigure the bolt as the stem attached to the ball ornament that came with the pole was too short to go through the light and into the pole. After spending $1.48 at a local hardware store for a 1/2" diameter, 5" long bolt, and a 1 3/4" coupling, and having to use some elbow grease to cut the head off the bolt, it attached easily through the light, the coupling and into the pole. I was pleasantly surprised when I came home tonight and saw the Colors displayed in all i their glory. This little gadget works great.

Very good light right out the box. Set it out in the morning to charge all day, then installed. It been through a couple of good rain storms here in Louisiana with no issues what's so ever. Very happy with this purchase overall.

No dislikes and we absolutely love this solar light on our flagpole, nice and bright, seller was timely on delivery and product was as described, and no problems with putting it on the top of the pole.

Extremely satisfied! Bought this light for our 30’ flag pole. With the setting on high, it actually lights up the grass beneath the flag.

Nice bright light that does a very good job illuminating the flag. After a sunny day the light was still as bright when I got up the next morning as it was when I went to bed. It was extremely easy to install. Just unscrew the standard 1/2x13 threaded finial ball on top of your flag, put this light on the shaft of the finial ball, and screw it all back into the top of the flagpole. Don't forget to push the button to turn it all on and remove the protective film on the solar receptors. The only problems I ran into and they were minor were as follows:1. You cannot tell if the off/on button is on or off when you push it. I had to take my pole back down and push it again when it failed to charge the first day. Once you get it set right it is good to go and doesn't need pushed again.2. My finial shaft was evidently too long to firmly hold the light between the finial and flagpole. I easily remedied that by cutting a half inch length off a piece of 3/4-inch PVC pipe and placing it between the light and flagpole as sort of a washer. It is good and tight now. The company may want to consider putting a few cheap PVC washers of various lengths in the package for situations like this.Overall I am very pleased with the product and would highly recommend it. Sure beats wires and batteries and aiming floodlights.
